If Joker's announcing his crimes beforehand he might even do them on holiday dates, to make it 'more special'.

April Fools would be a good day for something, and we did get a little hoax this year so....

And we just got a rumor that film wasn't linear. Maybe it bounces from holidays back and forth to the present investigation and the crimes.

Yeah, I agree that Falcone could be back in action for The Dark Knight rather easily. However, I think he would have a very small role.

i think that the long halloween was overrated, it dragged out too long.....and two face is an overrated character in my opinion, he doesnt do crap

Crap character? What about MH? he kidnapps little girls with a name called "Alice" what a sick character I think he's good but Two-Face is interesting character like Joker, who suffers from "is obsession with duality and his criminal behavior as the result of multiple personality disorder and a history of child abuse. He obsessively makes all important decisions by flipping a two-headed coin, one side of which is scratched." A lot easier to do in a Batman movie.

Well, what happens now Falcone's gone? There's gotta be a power vacuum and Maroni also needs an opposing crew or else it's difficult to have a mob war. May as well introduce Falcone's son and continue an established plotline rather than just set up someone new.

Maybe it's Anthony Michael Hall. Give him the purple shades and have him fake his own death because he knows the Joker's gonna get him.


The rooftop scene with Gordon, Bats and Dent will definitely be in too.

Pretty good post here that I agree with. Although most peeps are expecting some redic masked villain, that would be cool and all but this plot would be just as sweet. Hall could be Falcone's son or maybe not. Maybe we get Sinois?

i think it's on the BOF news page, some insider with info suggesting there would be flashbacks ets (pretty much a Nolan trademark by now to be non-linear anyway).

I'd love to see Nolan combine more characters. Combine Joker with Holiday, in the just the fact that Holiday killed Mobsters, and throw in that Joker wants to start a gang war.


Combine Two-Face with Hangman(in the third movie) and have him hang the people he deems guilty by his coin. And hang them in places that meant something to Harvey Dent. A courthouse, a statue of Lady Justice, Harvey's old house.

Anywho, perhaps the 'vigilante' is Holiday? Personally, I echo the notion that Holiday deserves his own storyline, as TLH is one of the best mystery stories in all of Batman lore.

I think it's the worst mystery in all of Batman's lore.

slight framework of The long halloween will definitely be in the movie, but I don't expect Holiday. The whole thing of freaks taking over the mob and the struggle imbetween will be there though.
