Hostel:Part II

The show sucks and having bRoth on here will make it suck more.

I only watched the show wehn Bay was on and Wes.
Now they'll have Roth.
I hope they have Rob Zombie and Clive Barker next.

Seen it. "Teh sux." Didn't like the first one, either, hoped for the sequel to be a bit more enjoyable... NOPE! It ain't. Go **** yourself, Eli!

I really enjoyed this myself, nice companion to the first film.

Looking forward to the unrated dvd

This movie was stupid. Just saw it, and the ending was just damn silly.

So did the ending ruin the whole movie for you?

NO. The whole movie ruined the whole movie for me. I thought they were building up to something great, after all the talk about a 'great ending', so i hung on to that hope..and all i got as a pay off was
..a severed penis that became dog chow...?WTF!

...plus that chick that was hung upside down (can't think of her name) that everyone was talking about looked good nude, looked even worse with her clothes off than with her clothes on.:csad:

That's too bad.
I liked the story, I was only slightly disappointed about the very end.
I very much enjoyed how the dog got his chew toy. :woot:

They talk about the original ending on the first release of hostel 1. where jay's character kidnapps the dutch businessman's daughter.

First one was super-terrible, I don't think I'll ever bother with the second.
Damn, how is this guy getting work?

My thoughts exactly. I just dont get it. These movies are meant to scare you? Theres nothing scary about them. Theres no suspense, at all. I guess its just the whole gore aspect that ppl like. These movies are made by ppl with small minds for an audience with NO imagination and NO attention span. Its good that this whole torture genre is a dying breed. Hostel 2 tanked its first weekend compared to Hostel and the more recent Captivity just flat out went belly up. I think after Saw 3, ppl just got tired of the same script just painted a different color so to speak. I think Hollywood needs to go back to the old slasher flicks. Kinda why im stoked about the remake of Halloween.

Agreed 100%, friend.
There's no suspense, no emotion, just....gore.
Nothing bad about gore, but it can't be there just for the sake of it.
"Torture porn"? Give me a break

Also..."Captivity"? What the hell is that? A "Saw" rip off?
If so, I'm glad it tanked :D

Well, while I hated "House of 1,000 corpses", I seriously loved "The Devil's Rejects", so I'm hoping the Halloween remake will be good as well :D

Yea, i wasn't too fond of House of 1,000 corpses, in fact i thought it was one of the worst movies iv ever seen, of any genre and i really didn't like The Devils Rejects as i hated the characters. I'm a fan of the orig Halloween tho as well as the early Friday the 13th movies(which id like to see remade if the Halloween remake is good.)

Also is it just me or does anyone else think the marketing behind Halloween is HORRIBLE. I mean WTF? The movie is called Halloween, RELEASE IT IN OCTOBER!!! I dont know, i just thought that was a BONEHEAD move to release it in Aug.

Having just found this thread, I must say that Hostel Part II is without a doubt the worst movie I have ever seen.

And the Halloween Remake is going to be utter ****.
