How big of an age gap is acceptable when dating? [read: I banged a hot soccer mom!]

okay, so i met this girl (woman, i suppose) through work a couple of weeks ago, she was nice, pretty, and looked to be about 30 or so... maybe 35 (i'm 23, by the way)

well, i was wrong about everything except for the pretty part. she mentioned she had a daughter, and when i asked how old, she told me 22! she wouldn't tell me how old she was herself, but i saw her ID when we went out to the bar, (yes, she got carded, she looks that young) and she was born in april of 1963! she's a year older than my mom!

so, whatever, we kept flirting at work, then talking on the phone, then we went out for drinks, and ended up sleeping together (my god she's a firecracker!) she told me she just likes being in relationships with younger guys because we're funner, not boring, and because she acts like a teenager herself. well, we've been seeing eachother for about a week now, and she's completely off her rocker. she already tells me she loves me (i don't say it back yet, i just say "aw! thanks, babe."), we sleep together everyday (again, complete madwoman in bed, she's insane) and she calls me 7 times a day. oh well. beats being single.

so, i forget what the point of this thread was... something about age gaps in dating, i suppose.

Wierd... I'm writing a story similar to this... It makes me jubilant that my chararization is down pat on the woman, (Edit: What I meant is, I'm always afraid I'm not writing women write, so to get some confirmation a woman would act in such a way, makes me happy)... Actuallly my two cents would be, this isn't so much an age difference but the fact she has a kid and she's single, the reason she probably likes younger guys, is she misses her youth that she probably lost due to having a kid, and a kid takes up most of your time. So meeting you, her regression into a love-sick teenager, yada-yada is most likely some wierd mid-life crisis, jsut don't get to deep because when she snaps out of it, yikes who knows she might want settle down with you

Milk it for as long as you can. She knows what she wants, she's less likely to play all the stupid young girl mind games with you, she's a "firecracker" in bed and she doesn't want you for your money. She could probably teach you a thing or two. When she starts talking about marriage, reason with her. But if you want to get down to brass tacks, I think that no matter what type of profound or deep insight any poster here can give you, you will not change what you do in the real world. So I'm wondering what the point is?

It's very obvious that you look for attention regarding aspects of your life, seek validation for your choices, and congratulations for your activities.

Honestly, you treat these forums like your own personal blog but your topics under the "guise" of questions, are just excuses for you to reveal your sex life. But that's just the impression I get.

But if you want to get down to brass tacks, I think that no matter what type of profound or deep insight any poster here can give you, you will not change what you do in the real world. So I'm wondering what the point is?
