How I Met Your Mother

I love the Ghostbusters thing. I love how he said Ernie was a coward all because he wouldn't join him in his plain.

The Ted/Barney plot and the Ghostbusters thing were great.

Maybe that phone call could also be Robin tellIng him he's the father.

Damn. I did not see that ending coming. :wow:

Dude on Facebook ruined it for me last night. Before I got the chance to watch the ep online, he put up: "Can't believe How I Met Your Mother! I hope it's Barney's!"

I am no longer subscribed to his updates.

Don't be Barney's. Don't be Barney's. Don't be Barney's. >_<

That sucks. The reveal at the end would be much sweeter if you didn't know anything coming into the episode. :csad:

That moment was a serious WTF moment, especially since it ended so abruptly.

But I've noticed, Barney has sort of been the more interesting character this season. It almost feels like he is the star at times, which sucks because the thing that really hooked me on the show was the focus on Ted during the early seasons.

Even when they focused on Ted, Barney, Marshall and Lilly were always more interesting than Teddy Westside. :o

"Ohhh, I just met you and I love you! Lets get married! Oh noes, she left me at the alter for her baby daddy because I invited him to come to the wedding even though she told me not to and it was a dumb ass idea anyway!"

Maaaaaann F**k Ted Mosby! :argh:

I thought season 1 Ted was great because he was such a hopeless romantic and it was fun to see him go after Robin. The rain dance and ending to the finale is one of my favorite scenes in the series. In season 2 it was cool to see him switch roles with Marshall since he was now the one is a serious relationship. But I think after the break-up and season 3 Ted, he started to become less interesting because he was sort of trying to be more like Barney, but it didn't fit who he was deep down. I liked how they handled the Stella break-up, but even then, it didn't seem like Ted during that whole dating/quick engagement/marriage stuff and I love how Robin called him out on it before the wedding. But aside from Zoe last season, it really seems like Ted stopped trying and now he's just a *****e. He lost his charm and romantic side and that's what always kept me interested.

Marshall and Lily not so much because aside from their break-up, they always seemed to be the perfect couple, but it almost felt too perfect at times and it gets annoying.

It would really suck if Barney could no longer celebrate Not-a-Father's Day.

Ted's story is what got me (and pretty much every friend that I got to start watching the show) hooked. Barney and Marshall/Lilly were just funny peripheral characters.

But as the seasons went on, it seemed like the other characters (Barney in particular) seem to be more interesting. We kind of know where Ted's going to end up, and the journey is the best part yeah, but we know his destination. We don't know the journey or the destination for the others and it makes it seem a little more dangerous (or interesting).

teddy westside is still the best character to me :( even if no on else likes him, hes still a bro to me.

im curious who the father is....i assume hes told at the casino that hes not the father/is the father, because he looks pretty shocked.

it should be a fun ride to see how this all ends.

How Barney met your aount Robin :woot:

Barney had more stories in general since the last two seasons. maybe because NPH got more popular .

When Robin made the shock announcement, my jaw just dropped!!! :omg:

Barney has to be the father! I can't see Kal Penn lasting the rest of the series! He'll be gone by the Season Finale just you wait and see.

I don't know, I think he's been popular for most of the series and probably the biggest name they had when they started the show. Plus, he was always a fan favorite. But I think in the last two seasons, they've started to evolve his character and make him more mature while dealing with his personal life since he was always a bit mysterious.

This is another reason why I don't think Robin will have the baby. I think its a bigger shock if its Kevin's and the call Barney gets is that she lost the baby. It almost seems too obvious to announce a pregnancy right after they slept with each other and to have Barney be the father. But I also don't see Kevin and Robin ending up together.

Or.....she has the baby, It's Kevin's, but she still marries Barney.

here's a random theory... Ted adopts her kid, so, she is the mother of his oldest but she's not his wife...
(and this whole story is all him trying to build to revealing to her that she's adopted)
