Transformers How important is Megatron and Starscreams appearance?

well...so far, i've been pretty dissapointed with all of the designs BUT if they act like they're supposed to act(i.e., like the g1 toon, comics, etc.), all will be forgiven.

Initially I thought the x-men's costumes were kinda goofy but since the characters were so much like the comics(for the MOST part), all was forgiven. If Transformers can do the same, i'll be satisfied.

Although things may have changed (I hope).... If I were you, I'd be prepared for a vulture like creepy Starscream and "Aliens"-like Megatron that's more monster than machine.

No Ian Mckellen or Patrick Stewart here to carry the show.

Then you have terrible taste. It looks like they pasted a human head on a chicken's body. You think that looks good? Stick with the alien head and alien body, or stick with the human proportioned cartoon design. Mix and match and you get ****.

actually it looks like a humanoid robot that TRANSFORMS into an F-22 Raptor. you seem to be the one with terrible taste.

you make an excellent point here. The beauty of transformers is with each new series or change of events the characters can get a completely new look and it doesn't muck with the story line.

I voted slightly important. I think it is important for starscream to have the same character attitude and be AN F'N jet!! But i did hear somewhere that he was the chopper in the teaser. SUCKS!!! Megatron can't be a pistol. don't be nuts. Make him a tank of some kind. that would be fine. but from what i saw in the teaser if it was him i saw. he looks way to cluddered as a robot.

Personally, I think if they went for a more "cerebral" sci-fi Transformers movie, Megatron could very well be a handgun. It would make human beings being the focal point of the movie actually make sense.

starscream is a jet. the chopper in the trailer is a different decepticon
