No new news on the sequal yet. All we know is who Castle is gonna be.:unishr:

I went and seen this movie twice in the theaters, and then when it came out on DVD,I was watching at least once a week, for about a month and a half.
Since then I've calmed down a liitle bit on it and I split my viewing options, between Punisher, and Daredevil, with all my other "comic book" movies added in here and there.

Only once, but I'd like to see it again, and after rolling it around in my mind, I've decided to buy it (the "special edition" DVD that's coming soon). I'm sort of trying to get into more of the character, so I also ordered the "Punisher Vol. 1: Welcome back, Frank" GN.

Once in theaters and once on video... It was the same experience i had for Daredevil, the first time I saw it, I was so excited, I saw past it's many faults, and on video... I saw it for the mediocrity it really was :( But then Daredevil DC came out and all was good agian since that kicks ass... Hopefully Punisher EC will be the same...

Once in the theatre, once on cable, and once on DVD. I'll probably buy a special edition copy at some point.

Does anyone have the full Declaration of Intent monologue of Frank's near the end? Thanks.

Sic vis pacem, para bellum. If you want peace, prepare for war.

In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law. To pursue... natural justice. This is not vengeance. Revenge is not a valid motive, it's an emotional response. No. Not vengeance. Punishment

Those who do evil to others - the killers, the rapists, psychos, sadists - you will come to know me well. Frank Castle is dead. Call me The Punisher.

To many times, to the point where I know most of the lines.

I've seen it three times now. I wish they put Lundgrens version on dvd aswell.

Lundgren's version is on DVD.
But Cobblepot's location says Rotterdam....they may not have it out over there.

I've seen the Jane version about 4 times....the Dolph version the same. I'm really looking forward to the extended version.

I've seen the Dolph version twice. 80 times if you count Rocky4.

Ive seen the 2004 Punisher about 3 times...Ive never seen the Lundgren version, can someone tell me how he was on the accent? From what ive seen of him he has a really deep Russian accent, is he able to mask that when he plays the punisher?

He doesn't have a Russian accent considering he's Swedish. He does at times show his accent, but it isn't to bad. The movie fit the typical 80's action movie. He does have some really good action scenes at times, but the story was really lacking.

I've seen the 2004 Punisher about three times. I like it, it's an odd movie. Not the actioner you would expect, but a western.

Watched it third time yesterday. It's just get's better when you forgive some of the mistakes. 4/5

I've seen both versions once which is enough for me, the 2004 is much better but still a bit eh...
