Here's a recap: A) This isn't "MY" conspiracy theory, I don't "believe" in it, I simply posted it because, like others who have posted in this thread, I found it to be an interesting read...

But interesting does not equal truth. And there have been numerous facts posted in this thread that prove your "interesting read" to be nothing but an incompetently compiled piece of trash. You know you wouldn't be feeling so defensive right now if you could just get down your high horse and admit that some of the stuff you post in here is downright ridiculous.

B)you called me a "bigot" and a "racist" (among other things) for no other reason than you were too easily offended and immediately responded with name-calling and childish insults, so I don't see how I could reason with you on any level.

I'm throwing around insults (very mild ones) as a last measure, after countless attempts at being diplomatic and explaining myself. Superman4ever (NOT Phaser) called me a "bigot" and a "racist" right off the bat for no apparent reason.

You seem to have a lot of FAITH in the sites that you post. The sites also I may note all link themselves to eachother, use eachother to back up their own claims. Also I should note every article they post has the same agenda, the government "is a big conspiracy". So in effect you've started with a conclusion and found people who agree with said conclusion. Then when people post evidence to the contrary they are either "brainwashed" or "controlled by the government/reptiles/or some such nonsense".

Everything you post therefore is non falsifiable. I cannot disprove the government is not pulling the woll over my eyes, because if they are then any attempts to disprove such an outlandish claim exists in a world where the woll is pulled over my eyes. All your arguments are either ad hominem or found on a confirmation basis, which is the way to search of find information based on ones preconceived notions. For example the Artic Circle is a widely known conspiracists website. It also functions of the fallacy of confirmation basis. They proceed to take events in history and make spurious correlations. Prime example. The CIA put Osama Bin Laden on a watchdog list and kept tabs on him frequently, therefore since they had contact with him they must have been involved in 911. The problem is you've filled in an unfillable gap, added your twist to the story.

The irony is this is the same thing you accuse Bush of on a regular basis. The WMDs. He assumed because Saddam had been buying parts that could be used for WMDs, that he had them. He also assumed that because an aid of Osama had some contact with Saddam that this means they were somehow in on this together. Of course both assumptions, which were made for self serving reasons, turned out false.

I fail to see a difference from those you criticize. In fact modern psychologists say we criticize our mirrors the most of anyone, for fear that they are like us. You don't want the truth, you want your own truth.

Its easy to start out with a belief and then justify it, because half the work is already done for you.
