How to do the Joker's scars?

using just collodion works just fine for doing The Joker's scars, some people overdo it quite a bit!

its like nu skin. i use it around the edges to seal the collodian from coming loose after talking, laughing, cackling, monologing about scars etc. you could also use latex or an adhesive like pros aide. and i agree with dark vengence, a lot of folks are overdoing the scars a bit. the scars themselves arent that extreme. its the smeared red around them that makes up most of the smile.

That process of making the actual scars is rather interesting. Seems like they apply the silicon along with the molds so that it sets to the exact contours of the face with little to no seem lines.

It only sells for $3.75 a bottle. If you do a google search for Rigid Collodion and click on the 'shopping' search function, you'll get a whole list of places selling it cheaper than it's been going for on Ebay.
