How to kill Goblins?

I'm not sure that's how I would like it to go down. People seem to forget this is a film about Spider-man, not Harry and not Venom. Wouldn't it be a little anticlimactic having the hero lying around helpless while all this is happening?
Plus, the way the film is structured, it seems appropriate that Peter fights and eventually beats the thing that made him forget his moral code. The battle within, so to speak, only now it's physical.
The ideal way for me to end this film would be what others suggested: Venom kills Harry and Peter, enraged, attacks Venom. The film ends with a spectacular Spidey-Venom one-on-one, in a way the good side vs the bad side of the hero. And the symbiote is destroyed, maybe in the same belltower or by fire, symbolizing the hero's final decision to use his gift for good and showcasing Pete's moral code.
 
We know that Harry at first will refuse to help him. Then after Peter is getting his ass kicked and MJ is in danger at the last minute I think Harry will show up. He'll probably save MJ and fight Venom. Venom probably loses interest in Spidey for the moment and throws Harry over. And htat is when Peter holds out his hand as Harry dies looking at Peter, probably being stabbed by something (his own sword, a symbiote tentacle, Venom's hand....something).

That is when Peter gets enraged and attacks Venom, somehow Brock will die, the symbiote will come for Peter and Peter will face his own inner-demons with the symbiote and destroy it. He then goes back to Harry's body where MJ has finally reacehd. T he sun rises as they look at each other and Harry's body.

That is my guess anyway.
 
heres how i think i it will happen


spidey and venom are battling. venom is hitting spidey with vicious blows to the body and head. harry starts throwing pumpkin bombs at venom but all it does it throw him up in the air.


harry takes out his sword and hits venom with it, then harry stabs the sword right through venom and then venom back hands harry a few feet. spidey is getting choked by venoms web and spidey is reaching up for harry, harry is injured.

harry gets up and throws a pumpkin bomb at venom, venom jumps out of the way but the pumpkin bomb caused a beam to viabrate, venom is in pain, venom goes to impale spidey again but harry jumps in the way and gets impaled in the chest, spiderman then gets furious and starts to attack venom and give it all he has. venom throws a weapon at spidey misses and hits an oil truck, the truck explodes and creates alot of fire. the symbiote gets off brock. the symbiote then tries to get on to peter, peter tries his hardest to fight, peter puts the symbiote in the fire and peter and mj are looking down at harry, mj is holding harrys hand and crying because he is dead.


this is just a little something i made up.
 
This is probably way out there from other peoples' thoughts about the ending, but this is what I think will happen: Venom kidnaps Gwen Stacy (of course Eddie will wanna kidnap the girl that he thought he loved), and Venom, Sandman and Gwen is ontop of a building waiting for Spidey. Spidey finds out that those two powerful enemies are waiting for him, so he tries to plead with Harry to help him, but Harry says no, so Spidey has to fight the both of them himself...he gets his butt handed to him, Venom and Sandman are way too powerful for him, and then Venom decides to kill Spidey right there, but a hammer forms from Sandman's hand, he knocks Spidey off of the building, Venom gets upset so he grabs Gwen and throws her off, Venom and Sandman get into an arguement/scuffle about each of them wanting to be the one who kills Spider-Man. As Gwen is falling, Spidey sees this, uses his webbing to save Gwen (like how Spider-Man uses his webbing to save Aunt May in S-M 2) and gets her to the ground where Gwen tries to kiss him again and he backs away saying no, and Gwen just looks on while Spider-Man comes back up on the building, but sees no one ontop of the building...then we go to Harry's place where MJ comes in and asks Harry to help Pete because he needs help, so Harry, still mad over Pete killing his dad AND the fact that Peter threw a pumpkin bomb at him earlier, he still says no, but then decides to be a man and not listen to his father anymore, so he dones his suit and flies off in his flying snowboard to help Pete. While Harry goes to the scene to see that the fight has moved on to a construction site, he goes to help and he starts fighting Venom at first. MJ comes in the scene now, in a taxi, and the driver sees a huge sand figure coming to get the taxi cab, the driver bails, which has MJ still in it...then he tosses the cab which has Spidey coming in to save her, but with Harry knocked out, Venom uses his webbing to save the taxi before Spidey does, and then they fight, while Sandman starts to fight Venom because he wants to kill Spider-Man...it becomes a triple threat fight, with Venom biting Sandman's neck, and it's almost like poisoning for Sandman, so he drops to the floor, but doesn't die since, well, he's sand and all, but he's down for the count on the pavement...it's then Spider-Man vs. Venom, with them fighting and moving back to the construction area, where Harry awakens and gets into the fight, with Spidey still getting his butt kicked, and Venom ties Spidey unto a beam, and about to finally kill him while Harry comes in and fights Venom off, but now Venom grabs a beam, rams it into Harry's chest and kills him, as to where it shows the scene of Mary Jane looking out the taxi, he sees Harry fall to the ground, dead. Spider-Man then tears the webbing off, and gets so angry, he even nearly kills Venom, but then he starts to bang beams together, making a loud noise that leaves Eddie's body, so Eddie then charges Spidey one more time, and he also gets impaled into a beam, the symbiote goes after Pete, which he fights the symbiote off, and while the police is coming, the symbiote flees, sinking itself unto the floor and into the sewers...Peter gets MJ, then go towards Harry while the police arrest Sandman who's still down and Gwen meets up with her dad...and yah, that's what I think will happen. Is the above a good idea or a bad idea? I have no idea. Why you ask? Its simple, the author failed to break things down into paragraphs. Too bad, the ideas will remain a mystery.

that sounds pretty good.....the beam part is defenitley a good idea, the fact that the symbiote is affected by loud noise. i would also like to see peter and mj get married at the end of the movie, i think it is the right time, the sandman getting arrested part i dont like, he is made out of sand and can slide right out of it. i am not sure about brock dieing, he might die he might not die. if he goes to jail then he will surley return as venom.
 
I really like what you put venom4life. You could picture the scene in your mind and the scenes from the trailer fit in nicely. However, I really don't think that Eddie Brock will end up dying in this movie.

And how do you arrest Sandman? He's sand, he can just slip through the handcuffs!

I'm thrilled at the aspect of seeing 3 hours of Spider-Man 2. It could be amazing! I've seen enough SM3 peaks over the last month or so that I think I'm more excited about seeing a longer cut of SM2. I'm hoping, if it is as good as I think it's going to be, that they release it on DVD around the time that SM3 comes out.
 
Do y'all remember on the second disc of SM2...they had a shot of Doc Ock on his back and the tentacles were wipping around on Spider-Man. I was kind of sad Doc Ock never just grabbed him and tossed him around with his tentacles. Maybe that scene made it in!

I was watching Nip/Tuck tonight and seen a preview of SM2 saying there was going to be more scenes and more story. We also get another sneek peak of SM3. I can't wait.
 
I hope we get more action scenes,more Dr.Connors,and more Goblin's lair footage.

Me too...I hope they finish the CG on the Doc Ock scene I described above. I think it is at the bank...Doc Ock is on his back and his tentacles have Spidey over him in the air and are wipping around. It looked like a great scene. I also would like to see some more Dr. Connors...maybe reacting to the news of his friend Octavius. This has me more excited than getting to see more SM3 stuff...
