Comics How was FNSM this week?

I kind of like it for what it is. Though what irks me is that Hobgoblin looks like Green Goblin. Maybe there is some kind of explanation for that, but from what I saw...his name should be Green Goblin.

If I remember correctly, he was called the Hobgoblin in the Spidey meets 2099 one too, because the people of the future got the names mixed up and believed the look of the Green Goblin belonged to the name of the Hobgoblin.

I might be entirely wrong, but I think I heard that somewhere.

Well, that would make a whole lot more sense then. Hopefully David will touch upon this in the next issue.

You know, the next issue, #9 I love that cover the tribute to ASM#39.
Save the fact of the crappy costume ofcourse.

ok, i read a couple of posts from the first page in this thread, and it seemed that this title is really getting a bagging. so is it worth getting? or should i just stick to sensational and amazing?

I just saw a preview of FNSM #9.

We ARE talking parallel universe, but this was not what I was expecting. Hmmm...

Hmm, so it could be then that the alternate/future Hobgoblin is a female and future relative of Peter Parker from another dimension.

Plus with the talk of parallel universes not only existing but interacting - my theory about using multiple worlds to clear up all the sins past and The other problems could easily be on the cards

ok ok, no need for the sarcasm. I'm just clutching at straws to repair the storylines i didn't like.

I liked it. At first it started to remind me of all the DC Infinite Crisis stuff with the talk of multiverses and everything...but then it kind of got interesting with how things turned out with "Hobby".

The futuristic Spider-Man was really cool.

It's a fun little story that can deal with some subjects that you won't be able to ever deal with...without pissing off every single Spider-Man fan in existance.

I'm looking forward to see how this all comes to a head. With the "retcon bomb" on the scene I'm having a feeling that someone is gonna get nailed with it...
