Also his claws in past are in right place (scene in hotel room), don't know why those in future are so low like between fingers, by the way I didn't like it in The Wolverine.

it may be just for show and i can see them doing that quite a few times like when kitty is having problems with him during the time travel his claws may randomly shoot out.

i know jackman says magneto and logan don't get on so maybe magneto says something that annoys wolverine so he shoots them out, then magneto says something about having given them back to him in the first place, that would not only show he has them back but solve the mystery how he got them back also

otherwise i wouldn't bank any hopes up, it doesn't sound like he is in the pre-title sequence, unless there was stuff not mentioned or missed and they probably will want to get to the past plot as soon as possible

I have a feeling we'll see adamantium claws some way or another. Even if it's brief. Wolverine is Fox's darling and his adamantium claws are iconic.

Maybe I just don't get the humor here. I don't find it funny at all, its pretty tragic and I don't know why they are playing that off as a trailer joke. So hank dies, that sucks, I dunno, just isn't quippy funny to me.

Im chalking it up to being out of context, Like hank screws something up, or fights terribly, and wolverine gets annoyed.

Really? I thought it was very in-character for Logan; Hank asked him and he replied candidly. Wolverine won't sugar coat it for you.

Also remember, this is exactly why Logan is back in the 70s, to prevent Hank and humanity from getting killed. So...if the timeline changes, Hank has nothing to worry about.

The humor is not that Beast dies; the humor is that Wolverine is incredibly blunt and tactless in answering the question. That moment may or may not be played for laughs in the film.

Yeah it's hard to know how it will come off in the theater, although I personally found it funny. Not so much Wolverine's response, but Beast's reaction.

Given that he's facing an apocalyptic future where, if he isn't dead already, he will be soon, it's not like the answer should really matter from logical perspective. That, and it looks like they're in a battle where Hank could easily be killed in the next ten minutes anyway. But despite all that it still freaks him out.

The trailer gave us a spoiler that Old Beast dies before Logan's travel in past, do u think we're gonna watch old Beast's death or it will happen offscreen..?

It's a moment of dark humor. It's funny because of the way Logan just admits and Beast's reaction, but also sobering because it's true.

I hated that scene in the trailer. And it definitely didn't deserve to be the final shot, IMO.

That Logan Beast scene doesn't come off as funny or even intentionally funny.

I found it funny enough, but there's a serious undertone to it all. Works for me. Hoult's face sells that part.

I figured Beast not being in the future scenes they've shown thus far means he's dead. Then, that website confirmed it.

Exactly. I think some people are just taking it way too serious and making a bigger deal out of it. The humor comes from how blunt Wolverine is in the situation.

People are making a big deal out of it because they chose to use it as the final shot of the final trailer.

Anyways I wonder what caused Beast to go from that scene to Beast out.
