Days of Future Past Hugh Jackman IS The Wolverine Thread - Part 1

Fassbender looks older than Hugh in that picture, and he's at least 8 years younger. :wow:

Without (presumably) the bullet through the head adamantium deal, presumably new Logan (this is gonna get messy) would remember his 100+ year past unlike our Logan. So I wonder how he reacts to Jean in this new timeline. He could meet her when she's like 15 which would be creepy haha

But then again, at the end of DOFP, Scott seems to already know there's something between them so... Questions questions questions!

Technically ANY romantic relationship that Logan has can be construed as "creepy." The man's almost 180 years old.

^ sexy boys! :D

I saw the movie again tonight (3rd time!) and we had a very loud 4-year-old at our show who shouted "EWWWW!!" at Wolverine's butt shot. :funny:

But falling in love with a 15 year old Jean and waiting for her to grow up is a special kind of creepy haha

Love it. Can't wait for the Tonys.

Not loving that all the tickets for his next Broadway show are $175 each...

What, no premium for you? :oldrazz: Truthfully, the theater looks so small and I hear all seats are good so I'm not springing for premium and waiting until the box office opens since I can walk there on my lunch hour.

Those were the regular seats! The premium seats were about $250. I knew when they announced that it was going to be in that tiny theater that the tickets were going to be a lot. But damn...we checked out the presale on Wednesday, and we just couldn't do it.

I have a sinking feeling that the regular sale won't be much better. That's a really small theater, it's a limited run, and they know they can get it. :csad:

Oh I know the $175 is regular pricing, that's what I meant. But I guess I'm used to paying that price for regular seats, I don't like sitting too far back. I usually do one set of premiums and then if I go again, regular pricing, but that still about $150 each. I actually thought the $250 premium was a bargain, I expected it to be more. But I'm going for the $175 since it's a small theater and contrary to other people, I don't need to sit THAT close to him.

Yeah...I'm probably going to be in SRO for this one.

They did a very good job with his hair in the 70's. Its wolverine without completely overdoing it. I liked how the future was a more normal hair style. Grey streak for the win too.

I literally can't imagine anyone else being Wolverine. Every time I see pics of Jackman as Logan, it's just... perfection

Hugh delivered once again as Wolverine. He plays the part so well, it's second nature to him.

Nighcrawler Alan Cumming is in "Cabaret" on Broadway and is going to perform something on the Tony Awards that Hugh is hosting. Hugh tweets:

Hugh Jackman @RealHughJackman
The amazing @Alancummig and my beautiful wife deborra-lee. caberet don't miss it! http://instagram.com/p/orjVCOihLb/

I'm actually curious to see on what the new Solo Wolverine film is going to be about now. I remember reading something like how it was rumored that the sequel would probably take place in the 2 year gap between "The Wolverine" and its post-credit scene, but seeing as how almost everything has been rectonned now, I wonder if they'll even go with it...assuming if that was the intent.

Honestly, provided that Hugh comes back for "apocalypse", I could see the next solo Wolverine film being his last one.

I wouldn't mind filling that gap in. The Wolverine showed us that audiences don't care when the movie is set particularly.

Also, how awesome is that pic of Hugh with Alan Cumming? Makes me wish Nightcrawler was in DOFP even more...

I'd love to see a Broadway show, but I don't think I'll ever get around to it. New York just doesn't do it for me. I think I'm more of an LA guy. Louisiana that is. :D I'll stay my ass right here.

Hugh nailed it as aways...I'm always gonna be a fan of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Ever since I was a kid I've wanted to see Wolverine on the big screen and then the first X-Men comes out and I've been hooked ever since. He brought one of my childhood heroes to life. F**kin love Hugh Jackman!

Agreed. The night it came out, I bought tickets for back to back shows. The first show was to see with my main group of friends, the second showing was to see with a friend coming in from Chicago. Of course, my Chicago friend's flight got cancelled at the last minute. Think that stopped me from watching that ****er again? Hell no...I sat next to a bunch of ghetto white dudes that had the time of their lives. Super nice. Kept offering me food and things when they found out my other buddy didn't make it, but they didn't really know a lot about what was going on, so I was their acting comic encyclopedia basically. :D

Hugh is Wolverine just like Harrison Ford is Indy and Han Solo. I remember watching the X-men for the first time. Didn't even know that the movie existed, I just saw the VHS somewhere and bought it. That cagefight, cigar smoking, bar scene after...I felt like a kid. Amazing how he sold it immediately.

Got my Prisoners blu-ray here, waiting for me to watch it. Jackman is pretty good in that one too, I've heard.
