In 5 X-Men movies we've had Magneto & The Brotherhood, William Stryker, The Hellfire Club, and now Trask. Don't act like Magneto has been the villain in every film, when in reality it's only been 2 (X1 and 3).

why are u acting a bit pressed these latest weeks?

are u ok, jp?

Your absoletly correct

DOFP could end up In a way like X2-where Stryker was main Villain but Magneto was supporting villain. After stopping Stryker's plan he then tried to corrupt the plan of wiping out mutants to wiping out human. In DOFP Trask may be main villain with Magneto(Fassbender version) supporting villain.

Trask working on weapons against Mutants, including designs for sentinles, and If Trask Is steeping Into Kelly void for film version Maybe Mystique uncovers this and this Is what causes Magneto to launch assassination plot against Trask.Blurring line between anti-hero and Villain for magneto while Task Is pure villain.

Sadly, I feel that Wolverine will be better in this film then the new movie with him in Japan

Apocalypse and Sinister would be so refreshing!!!

And as if he didn't do any villainous acts in X2 and First Class and soon in DOFP.

And the fact that he was the one who defeated Stryker in X2 and Sebastian Shaw in First Class, says a lot.

He was never a hero.

This is a cross-over post with The Wolverine, but I just love what other actors say about Hugh. An interview with Will Yun Lee - hopefully the lottery ticket tradition that Hugh does on all his movies held up on this one!

And you have Hugh as Wolverine. Do you ever access your childhood X-Men fan and think, 'I'm on screen with Wolverine!'

To an extent, yeah. When you're on the plane flying to Australia, that's what you're thinking of, and you become the giddy actor remembering what it was like on your first set. That's the magic of Hugh, and it goes along with James and Hiroyuki Sanada particularly. I have a couple of Hugh stories. In all the movies I've shot, I've never seen an A-list actor during lunch break go eat with the entire crew. He did it almost every day. That nature that he has took away any nervousness. He's so gracious that way. In the other story, my wife was so blown away by him, because every Friday, no matter what we would do, in Sydney or Japan, he'd buy lottery tickets for the entire cast and crew. He'd have a thousand of them in his hand from the beginning of the morning and he'd pass every single one of them out. My wife came to set and he made her come over and gave her a lottery ticket, remembered her name the next day. He's so humble and human. You don't get to see that too often on a set like that.

With your martial arts background, were you allowed to do more of the stunts?

I had an incredible stunt double called Jeremy Marinas and I've never seen someone flip so much in my life! That's where insurance gets involved... But the 87 Eleven stunt team let me do as much as I could. Whenever you're fighting with weapons, there's a level of reality because people don't understand that these are still metal or hard rubber with sharp points that if the timing's wrong you could definitely get hurt. There's nothing like working with an actor who doesn't know what they're doing, because you're always in fear of losing an eye. Thankfully, Hugh's timing is impeccable.

Hugh Is known as one of nicest guys In the business.

He works his butt off playing wolverine. And nomatter what you think of Last Stand and origins hugh's performance as wolverine wasn't the problem.

Well you can't say his perfomance in Last Stand was his best Wolverine either... but I blame Brett, he should told him to relax a bit, to not overact in some scenes.

Nowadays you're right, he was not the real problem.

Actors are still bound by scripts and directors.Brett Ratner was no Bryan Singer or Matthew Vaughn or even James Mangold If the Wolverine turns out well.

It screamed bad idea since the moment he was announced. :wall:

When it comes to Hugh Jackman playing Wolverine, I think Singer's direction to Hugh as Wolverine is the best. Hugh definitely don't look dramatic and cheesey in X1 and X2. In X3/Wolverine, he was too emotional. Even in the trailer of the Wolverine, there are some moments from him that I don't like.

wolverine action? O.o

Isn't that Jennifer lawrence In last pic?

Maybe Wolverine Is trying to track down Mystique.

That woman is in her forties and she's from the makeup department, so no. LOL

They might have uniforms In final showdown.Bryan Singer did tweet a pic with magneto's helmet for 1973 part of film.

Christ that hair is PERFECT. THANK YOU Singer. I have no doubts this wolverine will be back to form, even better than The Wolverine.

He looks amazing.

It's just bizarre how much more I'm anticipating Logan in this than in his own damn movie. Best he's looked since the last Singer film.

I think the wolverine movie is big as far as being decent enough to stir the dofp buzz into hyperdrive
