Nice to hear? Was the post-credits scene a trailer or an actual scene? Just my curiosity.

It was a scene. And it's a bit more than we've been led to believe by rumours. What I mean, without fully spoiling is that
it has more than one familiar face in it and a definite hint towards DoFP.

Very nice to hear, thanks for sharing that! With a little over a week to go, I haven't been this excited for an X-movie since weeks before X3! I guess it's time for me to hang around Union Square AMC until someone walks up and invites me to a preview screening. It's always worked before.

Hmm. Interesting.
I wonder who, of all the characters, could have accompanied Charles.:o

My money is on Storm, but my instinct is telling me Magneto, either one really could give that wow factor.

well I have heard
The post credit scene has Wolverine frozed at airpoint and seeing Magneto who tells him a great threat awaits our kind in future.Wolverine asks why he should trust him and then he sees Xavier wheeling up In wheelchair and It's revealed Xavier was freezing people Including wolverine mentaly

Sounds like a teaser trailer to me! :woot:

And best post-credits scene ever, even though I don't like these scenes being tacked on (and a lot of people miss out - a good proportion of the audience had already left by the time it came on!).

Theaters should advise the ticket buyers that there's a scene after the credits.

I remember seeing X3, and it was like the 1st movie that had a post-credits scene that I saw in theater. And there's an advisory to people at the mall's theater schedule which is above the ticket counter that they should wait for X3's credits to end because there's a bonus scene.

When I saw the first Iron Man movie, one of the theater managers told the audience to stay through the end credits. Although at the time, a lot of the audience didn't really get it. "I guess if you read comic books that makes sense," I heard some guy saying to his kid on the way out.

But when I saw the first showing of Iron Man 3, just about everyone stayed.

A lot of people stay through the credits now. On another forum I read, someone always asks if they should stay through the credits whenever a big movie comes out.

I live in NYC, and having anyone that works at the theater say "stay after the credits" to the entire audience or having a sign of some sorts is too outlandish for a movie that's playing in probably 4 screens at the same time for 12 times a day among other operations. I wish there could be some kind of advisory actually attached to the reel right after the opening trailers, but one day we will get there.

I think these days, when it comes to superhero films most people stay through the end credits. I remember watching First Class and there were people standing at the corner (who are ready to leave the theater) waiting to see if there's an end-credits scene.

And since First Class didn't have a post-credits scene, more people might (especially the people who aren't following the news about X-Men movies) not stay through the end credits unless they are told to that there's a bonus scene after the credits.

I remember seeing TDKR at the IMAX at Lincoln Square in NYC last summer, and people stayed, expecting a Justice League tease at the end. They were disappointed.

Most of the audience stayed when I saw Avengers on 42nd St too, and it got a huge laugh. One woman said loudly, "Well, shawarma's not for everyone..."

Union Square , Lincoln Square( the only one with a real deal IMAX in the city), and the two theaters in Times Square are an entirely different beast, that's were all of us comic book fans go! They are literally steps away from the biggest comic book shops in the city, Forbidden Planet and Midtown Comics. Anyone at one of those theaters is most likely on this board right now, haha. I remember back in the XMF days running into a few there after X3.

I've seen every X-Men movie at the AMC Empire 25 except for FC, which I saw in NJ (twice). Very first movie I saw there, just after it opened, was the first X-Men.

I love going to the two 42nd St theaters for horror movies on opening night. They're the funniest crowds ever.

I used to work right near the Union Square theater, so I used to go there all the time. I was there for the two RiffTrax Live shows last summer.

Tyrion Lannister must be a very serious threat if Xavier/Magneto are willing to team up again. I was hoping that the scene would feature Cyclops coming back.

I love this:
