Hugh Jackman Talks Gambit And Deadpool

taylorkitschrl0.jpg

:eek:I saw that picture and my brain melted. I had a thought and that thought spiraled into incoherent gibberish.

Taylor Kitsch is a living Adonis among men.
(Actually on second thought,
I've seen better looking guys, but since he's playing
Gambit, it automatically bumps him up to Adonis status.
I could almost ignore how much space is between
his nose and mouth because of that...but I still want to cute a few inches
off of his hair.)

Okay, done fangirling. You can go back to your normal conversation now.
(haha!) ;)

I read this news elsewhere about what Hugh said and I have to say I love it. Sounds like they're really making Gambit in-character and not screwing him up.Though, you never know, but it sounds really great so far.

This is making me really excited for the film. I'm glad there giving it there all YAY!!

I don't know. Gambit pops up just as they're revealing the "team" and his actions could easily be part of some sort of operation Weapon X is pulling.

Lets face it, of the whack-jobs they've got selected for the team, he's the only one that could really pull off any kind of cover.

That's true but then i wonder what will make him join the team. Gambit is usually hesitant about joining a team.

That'd be a good enough reason for me.

I like what Hugh says about Taylor and Gambit.

It gives me more condifence in Taylor's performance.

I think the scene/s between Logan and Remy will be great.... and probably my favourite scenes, hehe.

Yea let's hope it's more than 3 mins

I was under the impression that the Weapon X team don't have much of a choice in the matter...

At least that's certainly how it seems in the trailer.

For those folks who think Gambit might have more than one fight scene with Wolverine, here is a little tale I felt like sharing:

Once upon a time, in the early ages of 2005, one of the writers of X3 was asked how would Rogue's role be, and if she would fight. He said her role was great, and she had AN action scene. Chaos, chaos, chaos. The debate was: the fact he said she gets an action scene CANNOT mean she's only on the Danger Room. Right, right? Well, it was only the danger room.

So, an action scene usually means only an action scene. If he had more, Hugh would probably say "we have some great fight sequences"

Yep exactly he said "Sequence" not Sequence"s". So from that statement alone it's only one that we know of so far.

Peace.

Oh... no worries on me thinking he gets more than one fight scene. I'm just hoping that doesn't mean that he never, ever appears again - even in a minor capacity.

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Paquin tied to another project, and had only limited time available to film?

Not debating the general point, just asking.

Yes, she was filming "Margaret" at the time (which still hasn't been released!).
