It's just not a long winded origin story. There's no need for that. I really liked how the 1st Blade film kicked off and told the origin on the way and it worked perfectly...and that character's origin was pretty much unknown to the World. The Hulk's origin is known by pretty much...everyone to some extent.

From the interview it sounds like that they will be weaving bits of the origin throughout the story either in flashback or just non-linear story-telling ala Tarantino.
