Good interview with Matt Miller about the show. Miller discusses the thoughts behind the changes. He does address the backlash toward the new opening theme music and said since the show aired later then expected most of the season is done edited and finishes so they can't really change the theme again now.
Honestly, I don't see what would be so hard about just inserting the old theme music cue with the new opening video. Network approval and all that other stuff I guess.

Just got round to watching the season 2 premiere. Don't really like the new theme music. It's very bland and unepic compared to season 1. Also, I would've liked to have had Emmanuelle Vaugier and Autumn Reeser as regulars instead of the two new women. I particularly liked Autumn Reeser. She's really cute.

Last night's ep was very entertaining and had a great balance of the main characters IMO.
Please someone bring back the original theme music though... I have to mute that part nowadays while humming the 1st season's.

Glad we finally got a Winston-focused episode. This episode did have a good balance with all the characters.
The stuff with Guerrero and Ilsa was great. I love Guerrero's whole cash only thing and he hates paper checks and things like that.

Hi,
As far as I am concerned I never watch show intro more than once, I didn't even noticed the new theme
I like the addition of Indira Varma, not only because she is nice looking ( I first discovered her on Rome ) but she brings more funny moments and her wealth allow the team to move all across the world.

I still think the show is good. The Christmas episode in the suburb was great. Valley got to show some of his versatility as well. I think Ames was OK helping out the kid and everything. She wasn't too annoying. A little less Pucci was good. I think her role needs to be downplayed a little more. Her scenes with with Chance were extremely effective as well.

Its not a deal breaker for me specifically. But man, its just that McCreary's theme music was so awesome especially the opening theme.

The new music doesn't ruin the show at all IMHO. Mainly if they just kept the McCreary theme music as the opening it would be fine.

"Just so you guys know...I've got a permit for the samurai sword." My man-crush on Guerrero has almost passed my man-crush for Valley. 
The ending of this episode was perfect, except for the moment the gunshot went off. Everything leading up to that, Ilsa basically telling the guy to go **** himself and actually fighting back (which was great), and their reactions afterwards, were perfect.
But the gunshot itself was way too predictable. I would have preferred Chance hearing the shot just before turning the corner. When he does, we see the guy standing over Ilsa. He turns, Chance quickly takes aim, but that's when he and we see the blood on his chest. Would have been much more effective.

Just finished the 2 hour block on my awesome HD tv.
I still think the show is awesome. The last two episodes IMHO were as good as anything last season. Glad they made it sort of a two-parter as one episode led into the next.
Interestingly enough, the little sponsor eye catchers actually had Bear McCreary's theme for a few seconds and just reminded me how much I missed it.
The stuff with Maria was great because we actually got to see Chance get angry and emotional which I don't think we ever really saw before. It was great though to see Chance get frustrated and seething. The finale was great stuff.
What I liked about it even more. That final sequence was almost EXACTLY like the pentultimate episode of Luther which Indira Varma was also in. Except the ending was much different. I wonder if the producers saw Luther or if Varma got the irony of the sequence. They start and begin the exact same way. They are almost edited the exact same way and they end NEARLY the same way.
Ames' annoyance was downplayed a little. But I think Pucci is a good character and she showed a lot of positive growth in this set.
I think fans that have turned away from the show because of the changes are shallow and stupid for doing so. The show still has it.
