Human Target

Just seen this pop up on Twitter....

Fox will air the 2-hour #HumanTarget pre-empted Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT Friday.

Probably going to be a huge ratings drop for this week.

I'm still angry  .

The good news is....last weeks two parter actually increased from the season premiere. At least that's what I heard.

Yeah but moving the show around doesn't help it a lot either.

A lot of fans stormed Fox last night over the pre-emption, so my glim hope is that they might get the message that there are a lot of fans of this show out there.

I'm glad I checked out this thread. Usually I avoid it in case of spoilers, but hearing that Fox was going to air Human Target tonight made me wonder what was going on.

I am loving the second season so far.
I don't like Aames. I think she is a wasted character so far.

I can generally take or leave Ames. I think Janet Montgomery is hot, but the character just doesn't add anything to the show. All the things she do the other team members sort of already did. Layla would've been the best character to bring along as a female cast member since she is a computer tech expert and that's something the team dynamic could've used.

Barnes had great chemistry with Chance. Unfortunately Vaugier and Autumn Reeser got parts on different shows :(

The opera episode is very TDK-esque with and EPIC CHOKESLAM! :awesome:

Wait... Guerro has a WHAT? :wow:

Cool pair of episodes.... though i thought they kinda dealt with the whole killing thing a bit quickly.... i'd have had a couple of episodes more than they did...

Do hope this show can survive... but i havve a rather horrible feeling that the extra 2 episodes were added on to wrap up the show:csad:

If so, it's not so bad. I'm glad we got the second season. The nature of ratings and TV shows ticks me off. It ticks me off that networks have no patience and see that shows need to build an audience some times.

I think one reason that cable shows are so successful and do so well is that they won't get yanked after like a season or a handful of eps. Yeah yea there was Terriers and all that. But then look at Burn Notice, Blue Collar, Sons of Anarchy, True Blood, and so much more.

That's four great episodes in a row, and now we have to wait again for stupid American Idol. :cmad:

The show has finally gotten it's steam from the first season. Ever since the Baptiste episode it seems like it's settled in to being great again instead of just good. The big three of Chance, Guerrero, and Winston are clicking like they should and we get golden moments like when Guerrero tried to break out and they're there telling him to go back in jail.

I'm glad we didn't see Guerrero's family either. I remember Baptiste referencing his wife in the first season, but I always wanted that to remain a mystery. Knowing he has a wife and son is one thing, but I don't want to see them interacting because it would take away the mystery that is Guerrero.

Really liked that moment when all the masked gunmen turned their heads upon hearing Guerrero's name.

So did i... love how he is feared by everyone...

I don't think Guerrero has a wife, but he does have a son. The feeling I have is that he's not WITH the mother.

It was referenced in the first season. So it wasn't a way to NEUTER Guerrero. Its just slowly peeling back the layers of this awesome character.

I think Human Target is going to be on Monday for its final season episodes so its going to be moving AGAIN. Ugh.

Fox always does this to shows I like and want to succeed.

My son and I are soooo ticked off about how Fox screwed around The Good Guys. We really loved that show; now the same seems to be happening with HT. :cmad:

Definitely looks that way unfortunately :( .

That's why I'm glad we got a second season. I hope it can continue but I'm not holding my breath.

Finally watched "Cool Hand Guerrero". I got excited when I saw James Remar was guesting, but once he opened is mouth with that Foghorn Leghorn accent I couldn't help but giggle.

Anyway, much better ep. Still not a return to form, but definitely earned back some good will, and it was cool to see a Guerrero-centric story. It seems like Chance has become just a generic tough guy lately. I mean, even more generic than he was before.

Seems like it's been forever since they did the old fearful-client-hires-the-team-for-protection type adventure like they used to do all the time. I think the last time was when Buster Bluth came in, and that was the B-story

The opera episode was my joint favourite of this season along with the one where Chance was protecting the woman whose husband Chance had killed years before. It was a cool riff on the classic Sherlock Holmes story "The Red Headed League".

Anyone else think maybe Guerrero is the Old Man's biological son? It'd be a logical reason why Guerrero--who seems to have a reputation as one of the absolute worst of the assassins--would do virtually anything for Chance, and now we know that they each know very intimate details about each other's life and relatives and such. If Guerrero grew up with Chance under the Old Man and considered him as much a brother as any blood relation could be, that'd explain the loyalty even though we know Guerrero clearly hasn't really gone over 100% to the "good" side. And Chance definitely seemed to personally know Guerrero's dad.

Basically, I just really hope they get into the relationship between Chance and Guerrero before the show ends, which is looking more and more like it'll be pretty soon. We know how Chance became Chance and how Chance and Winston wound up together; time for Guerrero's backstory now.

why are they airing a new episode on Monday night 1/31? This jumping around getting confusing
