I have no idea how you think I'm projecting that message from what I said. It's more a case of "hey we're not always thinking about you around here..."
It was supposed to start at the 'Now Skeeter, he ain't hurtin' nobody.'
Guess I done goof'd :(

LOL. Good OL' Triple JJJ!!! :lmao::hubba:o

BTW Marv, you do know there is a steelbook exclusive edition from Best Buy, right? I ordered mine through their website, since it was already soldout at their brick & mortar stores.

Yeah I went looking for it today, but it was sold out at my local best buy. I wanted to watch the movie this weekend otherwise I woulda ordered the steel online. I should have just pre-ordereded it. I hope Best Buy gets a nice Guardians of the Galaxy steelbook.

UK retailer zavvi.com had it for pre-order & it sold out almost immediately. Well, it was gone in a span of 2-3 days, I believe & the kicker is that it's already being sold on Ebay for $100 + shipping.

Seems like I missed quite the conversation.

Everyone has their vice, and their way of enjoyment. In college, I smoked and vaped weed every, drank beer, Jack, and Captain heavily every weekend, did Salvia (loved it, but it's not a social drug so I always did it alone), did Molly (did nothing for me except make me able to smoke even more weed on it), and smoked herbs like Peppermint and Chamomile.

I still focused on my work, graduated, and I'm doing fine now, mostly because I understand I can't really get away with doing the same after college (I also ditched my vaporizer after I graduated).

I had my fun, and I admit I wasn't always responsible with the above, but I learned how to use each responsibly and not have it affect my life and work so much. I never used any while working, nor did I go to class while affected on it too much (I went to a few viewing sessions for class stoned, but that's it). Still, it's all about being responsible.

Don't lounge me 'cause I'm close to the edge. I'm trying not to lose my head. Aha ha ha HA!!!

You talk about it as if you have control over it. You don't. Intoxication is always a gamble and you're just lucky if it doesn't take you over that time. People don't get that they're not consuming it... it's consuming them.

I can only talk from my experiences and I never speak for others. I haven't always had control but through those experiences I've gained a sense of self-control through my failures.

I was originally going to challenge you to prove your "self-control," but then I remembered I'm not that evil.

I mean, good for you!

Bamfah. No.

Have to work at 6a so I'm b****ing out tonight so I can hopefully sleep for 3-4 hours depending on how long this buzz lasts.

That's a load of BS Bamf. There are only 3 substances that I have ever been addicted to: Booze, Ecstasy and Tobacco/Nicotine. I have done everything under the sun in quantities most normal humans would avoid. Certain substances have a chemical effect on certain brains and over extended and habitual use they can become addicted. There are others, like myself, who have addictive personalities as well as the genetic predisposition for addiction. Even then no substances besides the 3 I mentioned ever hooked me. It's different for everyone and trying to come off with this 90's D.A.R.E. not even once BS is laughable. My cousin used to meth heavily and on a very regular basis, she now is a 4 year nurse, mother of 2 and productive member of society. Marijuana has absolutely no physically addictive properties but some can become so used to it it creates a psychosomatic addiction but really it's just in there head.

I also highly recommend psychedelics for everyone. It helps people become aware of another world and at ease with life. Mushrooms can help people quit smoking more effective than things like chantix. DMT, acid, shrooms, and salvia all are wonderful things that everyone should at least experience once. Tripping has also been proven to help terminal patients accept their circumstances and be at peace.

Apparently if you have an iTunes account you will automatically get the new U2 album for free. Free is good, just don't know yet if any of the songs are good, lol. :)

In my experience with music you get what you pay for Squeeks
Hee hee, this is mostly true. It's been rare that I have actually downloaded any of the free iTunes singles they post each week. I only found out about the free U2 album because my sister was freaked out when it just showed up on her iPod without her having physically clicking any buttons. She said it was average at best, but I'll give it a listen tomorrow when I have more time. Been a while since U2 has blown me away with anything.

I never once said that an addict or someone who uses can't be a productive member of society. And I didn't say that someone would get addicted the first time they use a substance. But for most people, it's only a matter of time. If not, they're lucky.

And even if I found an illegal, potentially-dangerous drug to be very beneficial, I'd never recommend it. But, I'll admit, when it came to drugs, it took me a while to finally grow up. I have to remember that others need their time, too.
