Hypothetical Crossovers: Film Continuities that would be cool in a shared universe.

I always thought all of these franchises were part of a larger universe... mainly because the comics always did insane crossovers - I think it was Dark Horse:

- Terminator
- RoboCop
- Aliens
- Predator

Not to mention, that universe sort of makes sense, and it's awesome.

Terminator vs Predator

Batman vs Tarzan

Justice League vs DBZ

X-men vs Star Wars

(Yes, I know the first two were Dark Horse comics)

While Robocop would last longer than most humans I feel like the other three would kill him pretty easily, especially the predators and terminators.

Having said that a Robocop/Alien/Predator/Terminator shared universe directed by James Cameron would be the best thing ever.

Lord Of The Rings & Star Wars
Gremlins Vs. Critters
Marty McFly Meets Wayne & Garth & Bill & Ted

Mortal Kombat/Poseidon Adventure- a fighting tournament held on an upside down sinking ship.

Harry Potter meets John Constantine

Harry Potter meets Hellboy

Star Trek of the Caribbean

Child's Play/Toy Story- Ends up with the other Andy

Batman vs Tarzan

Based on the exciting comic book. I don't know how many times I've read it.

Mortal Kombat/Poseidon Adventure- a fighting tournament held on an upside down sinking ship.

Direct to DVD sequel: MK vs Poseidon vs Ghost Ship vs Jaws vs Flipper: a fighting tournament on a haunted, upside down sinking ship, with a giant shark swimming around. Fortunately, Flipper the dolphin is there to save the day.

Christine vs Herbie: the world's scariest car vs the love bug.

Harry Brown in Eden Lake: where Michael Caine kills all of the chav bastards.

Predator vs Michael Moore: a found footage film where the director travels to a poor village in a rainforest to show the evils of capitalism, but is instead hunted by a scary (and familiar) creature.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but as awesome as it would be to see Robocop go toe to toe with a T800 model Terminator, the two franchises are actually NOT compatible (despite all of Dark Horse Comics' crossover issues).

Robocop takes place in the year 2030, in a Detroit City which had never been ravaged by nuclear war.

Terminator takes place in the year 2027, 30 years after a nuclear war nearly wiped out the entire human race.

In Dark Horse Comics' Robocop vs Terminator series, John Connor sends a soldier back in time (from 2027) to Detroit City, several years before Judgement Day (which was in 1997) in order to kill the scientist who created Robocop (in 2030) because that technology will be used in the future as the basis for the Terminators (in 2027). See the problem?

Now, Robocop v Predator v Aliens? That can work! Or Terminator v Predator v Aliens? Awesome! But all four? I'm afraid the timelines just don't mesh.

How about a crossover of sorts that goes back in time ...a very interesting What if scenario with an idea I came up with.

What if there was a movie The Lone Ranger V. the Man with No Name?

The Man with No Name leaves the New Mexico territory heading southeast with his cache of Confederate gold desperate to put distance between him, the U.S. government and Tuco.

It is Tuco who is enraged & embarrassed how the Man with No Name left him, finds a way to message ahead to Texas Rangers about the stolen gold about to leave the U.S.

The iconic scene I came up with in my head of the Lone Ranger & the Man with No Name meeting goes like this :

[border of U.S. and Mexico at dusk. As the Man with No Name attempts to cross the border into Mexico, the Lone Ranger tracks him to a trail used to crossover, blocking his path on horseback]

Lone Ranger : I don't know who you are, but I know what you've done.
The Civil War is over partner. The Union forces won.
That gold you have is property of the government now.
You are in the United States of America now.

the Man with No Name : Do you know where you are masked man?

Lone Ranger : [raises eyebrow] Where?

the Man with No Name : In my way. [slow & forceful]

I didn't finish it because, I really don't know who I would want to win! LOL

The Man With No Name v. The Man Without a Face: Dawn of Blankness

Jason Bourne and the Kingsmen team up; Bourne's CIA is corrupt enough to have been in Valentine's master plan, and maybe all that brainwashing was an attempt to make Kingsmen-capable agents.

Plus I'd love to see Damon's Stoic, no-******** demeanor teamed up with Eggy's snark.

Then integrate them into the Magnificent Seven franchise.

Predator and Star Trek would be awesome, for everything that could offer: a space dogfight between the Enterprise and a Predator starship, the Enterprise crew on the Predator homeworld, etc.

Or instead of Preds vs humans, you could have Preds vs the Borg, or Klingons... :p

And now that I think about it, the xenomorph Aliens would add even more awesomeness into the mix with Star Trek!

Also, Preds and Aliens in Star Wars.......?

The problem with Star Trek crossing over into anything is that the level of technological advancement in Trek eclipses most other franchises.

"Captain, there's a sinister-looking warrior in black armor running around the ship waving a red laser sword around."

"Hmmm. Use our transporters and send him into outer space. He'll just suffocate and die out there."

"Captain, some insectoid being just burst out of Ensign Ricky's chest, and now there's a nest of them in engineering."

"Right. I got it. Use our transporters and send them into outer space."

"Captain, now there's some hissing creature with dreadlocks and a shoulder cannon...."

"Transporters."

Conan the Cimmerian while stopped at a local tavern is hired by a small village to locate warriors to help defend a village from an army of bandits under the command of a rumored to be immortal war lord. CONAN does his best and collects a rag tag band with the meager offerings the village has. He finds the now wondering King Dar, also known as the Beast Master, an aged swordsman of incredible skill called Mad Martigan (WILLOW), a former wizard's apprentice that has slain a dragon (DRAGON SLAYER), a mystic blade weilder called Hawk (HAWK THE SLAYER) , the She-Devil with a sword Red Sonja and a wondering elf archer, perhaps the last of his kind named Legolas. CONAN will need all the help he can get, for he soon learns that the war lord's immortality is no myth or rumor, for this war lord goes by the name, The Kurgan!

And yes... I am well aware that this is a SEVEN SAMURAI riff.

I really like your Conan The Barbarian/Seven Samurai idea. Although I think I would make a few minor changes. First I would change Legolas with Conan's sidekick Subotai. Secondly I would change the sorcerer's apprentice from Dragon Slayer with Conan's other sidekick from Destroyer, Malak the thief. Then I might change Hawk The Slayer with Deathstalker or Ator The Fighting Eagle (only because I've never seen Hawk The Slayer).

And as for the villain, I'd use The Juns from Beastmaster instead of The Kurgan from Highlander. The reason for these differences is that it is plausible that the characters from a lot of these movies COULD be in a shared universe (Conan, Beastmaster, Deathstalker, Willow). However Dragon Slayer and Kurgan are from a Sword & Sorcery alternate Earth. And Middle Earth isn't a part of either Conan's Hyborian world or ancient Earth (not even a S&S alternate Earth).

Of course this is all just my opinion. Maybe your version could work better.
