It seems that Marvel didn't care about anything other than money when they signed that deal with Fox. It's like they did a deal with the devil, signed in blood for all eternity while giving away their firstborn while they were at it. What the HELL were they thinking?

I laughed so hard at these Doom tidbits. It all feels like an over-the-top parody of modernization efforts in CBMs.

This is like if Doctor Doom was a character on Smallville. It's EXACTLY what that show would do.

Poor Kebbell must have an earful heading his way.

Doom would probably have an entire phase devoted to him if he was in the MCU

You're right. God DAMN that pisses me off. :cmad:

I read the article and I don't see anything that should make anyone panic.

Of course you didn't. OF COURSE you didn't.

/DOOM has entered the chatroom

Now that made me laugh. That's going in the old sig.

This should be entertaining, at least.

I wonder if they'll do a hiiiiilarious gag where the Four (they don't call themselves the Fantastic Four because that's comic booky and cheesy) finally track down the mysterious hacker Doom to his hideout... and he's a nerd in his mother's basement. And his mom comes down to the basement to tell him to stop yelling at his new friends and he's all like, "MOTHER! YOU DARE DEFY DOOM?"

:woot: Excellent.

It seems that Marvel didn't care about anything other than money when they signed that deal with Fox.

They were facing bankruptcy and having the entire roster of characters potentially scattered to the four winds permanently. They were not bargaining from a position of strength, and were certainly not signing those deals because they were ****ing greedy.

Doom is now on Twitter!

No one is taking this movie freaking serious, its sad that this franchise will suffer even more. But i guess i will pay the price to see Doom against the avengers, and galactus in the infinity wars

Wouldn't/shouldn't there be some kind of clause in the Fox/Marvel contract that would state that Fox has to at least call the characters by their real names? Doesn't it rather defeat the purpose of popularizing their characters to the movie-going masses if they are being misrepresented on film?

Eh, they may not have wanted to go there. Slippery slope and all. Besides, Marvel Studios doesn't have much room to talk, given how hard it trolled fans with the Mandarin.

It seems that Avi Arad didn't care about anything other than money when he signed that deal with Fox. It's like he did a deal with the devil, signed in blood for all eternity while giving away Marvel's firstborn while he was at it. What the HELL was he thinking?

It's interesting that Arad was cut out like a cancerous tumor as soon as Marvel Studios got off the ground, but Sony still lets him ruin Spider-Man.

Except that Marvel made it clear that there's still a real Mandarin, the joke in IM3 aside. Fox on the other hand has now taken a giant **** all of over one of the best villains ever, twice now.

It SERIOUSLY is laughable.
DOOM, one of Marvel's premiere villains who should exude arrogance and confidence....is a nerd hiding and lurking in chatrooms???!

Something I have to say everytime the name is mentioned, freaking Avi Arad! :cmad:

What kind of s#!+ is Fox doing to me. Im getting depressed. Cant even make a joke about this s#!+ right now.

this movie needs to fail

Its like fox is going out of their way to make people not want to see it.

I really hope everything released about this production is a joke, and in truth they're making a incredibly faithful adaptation of the comic that blows everyone away... Not because I particularly care about the movie, but this would be the greatest case of internet trolling ever, #CyberDoom would be envious.

Marvel fans upon hearing this news be like:
