How long do people think Groot will stay baby Groot? He could end up more popular than the adult version, especially if he seems cute and is on Drax's shoulder instead of how Rocket was on Groot's shoulder in the first movie.

I'm guessing though we'll see adult Groot by the end of the movie. Otherwise that would mean Vin Diesel wouldn't get many lines with baby Groot, unless they modulate his voice to make it smaller.

I enjoyed Groot and his relationship/dynamic with Rocket the way it was and want to see more of that not what I'm hearing. Him being small for a significant time, which is what I am sensing from the comments, as well as the possibilities and questions about his personality being changed after this "rebirth" are not what I want to hear.

I see... I personally don't want to see a baby brat Groot.

I want to know how he's going to sound. Are they going to modulate Diesel's voice for the whole film? Or will infant Groot have a deep voice?

Personally I think they'll make it like a every time Groot "dies" he rebirths as baby groot. And become big regular Groot when extra muscle is needed. Something along the lines of this scene would be awesome.

Yeah I would like to think Marvel won't let toy sales influence their decisions in their films.

I'm sure baby Groot was a bigger hit in marketing but I agree it would really suck if that's what dictated this route. This baby Groot is a new character and not the one, which they nailed in my opinion, that starred along with the rest of the team in the film.
