I read the thread that Morg had issues with and Lackey did not post that post one time. He posted the exact same post many many times, and then everyone else posted that exact same post as well to join in on the mockery. Had no one reacted it would have blown over once Morg got his answer. It was harassment on Lackey's part because he saw something he found to be unjust. That's fine and dandy to speak up for what you believe in, but revolutionaries sometimes get shot.

That said, I am not saying that Lackey will not receive a lessening of his "sentence" Mirko has not, to my knowledge, responded to this, and Malice made his sentiments clear in this thread. They are the ultimate decision makers in this matter. I am merely trying to be a mediator.

Morg didn't make me respond for him. I just did because I am a bossy busy body.

I reposted a post that was deleted. If you want to bring that up, the fact that it was deleted in the first place was an abuse of mod powers. Had Morg not abused his mod powers by deleting my post, there would have been no reaction from me or anyone else. All in all, there was no breaking of any rules.

That post was not breaking the rules, it should not have been deleted, and I was not told not to post it again. (That post is included in the spoiler in the first post of this thread for those just joining us )

Apparently he doesn't think I have tried hard enough, and no one loves me. I'm the most **** upon person here at Hype because everything a poster does wrong is my fault, and everything an admin/mod does is my fault. Anyway, the people who you defend insulting you...this is a byproduct of what I'm getting at, which is the fact that you were previously a little more associated with the "rebel" posters that seem to get in the kind of trouble that requires neck-sticking-out. I know this, because, you know--I'm one of those guys. You've done it for me! I know. Again, I feel your actions have changed. It's like, you were a liberal, and then an independent, and now you're a conservative. Maybe I'm just selfish, because you helped me in the past, and that went down as "cool" in my book, but lately, whenever you're voicing your opinion on the current hot topics, I find that I disagree with you, and it wasn't that way in the past. I think that a lot us Naughty But Likeable posters feel that way...and I think that is the source of the newfound harshness towards you. Me, I calls 'em like I sees 'em. You're reading him wrong, at the very least he is doing it for the benefit of his close Hype buddies, with similar senses of humor. The guy doesn't want to be deprived of a free posting environment, for himself, and for his friends. For everyone? I have been here for six and a half years now. I have seen many-a-moderators come and go. I have seen the good, I have seen the bad. I remember your baby days here at the Hype, I remember when you used to be a fun, cool, poster. In hopes of somewhat saving you, I decided to list my grievances with you. I think you will find many other posters on the Hype share these grievances. Here they are:

1) You are a crappy moderator. No offense, I always liked you before you became a mod, you suck at doing it though, some people are cut out for it, others aren't. I'd suck at being a mod, nothing wrong with that. But yeah, you're incredibly unfair, biased at times, you overreact to everything and just in general are a bad moderator. In all honesty, there is no shame in stepping down and just becoming a regular poster again. It worked for Cyclops (although, he was an excellent moderator who kept the X-men forums from going to hell...but still, he made the transition back).

I've seen you overreact Matt, had to butt in when you got into arguments with others and asked you all to cool it. I don't really ban as many as you or others think, I do give more probation then bannings and usually let the person back in a a few days once they cool off. I spend more time merging, moving, trashing and fixing titles as a mod and yes I do play peacemaker now and then

2) You put yourself on a high horse. Notice how Dog Lips, Drakon, C.Lee, Dew, and others have their names in red letters and yet are generally in good standing with everyone here? Ever wonder why its not that way for you? Because you act like a total jerk. Bad modding aside, you do things like posting stupid stickys and then when people call you on it you delete the posts. If Dog Lips did the same thing, he would joke, have fun with it...but not you, you delete the posts, like a coward and then just get rid of the whole thread. If you had more of a sense of humor about yourself and can step down from that pedestal of yours, you probably would've gotten an answer at some point. You alienate yourself from the rest of the posters. I don't see Drakon as a mod, I see him as one of the finest posters on the Hype first, a moderator later. Hell, Drak has even stepped in to break up some heated conversations of mine in the past, I don't see him as a "bad guy" for doing it. You know why? Because he kept a calm, cool head. Was fair, and didn't act like he was someone we should bow before. But people see you, they no longer see a poster. They see some jerk of a moderator who has waaay too much of a hard on for authority on an internet message board.

So it's all right when others ask me to make a sticky even when it's not warrant and I make one I'm a bad mod? I needed to know ASAP about that dvd, sorry you think I'm a ******* abusing my powers just because I wanted help. I do have a sense of humor but Lackey and the others went overboard with the spamming and on that uncall 'abuse of powers'. I have kept a cool head, if you ever bothered to read some of the stuff I see posted and sent to me I would had to ban alot of people but just ignore most of the crap. Only reason why I went down on Lackey was due to that pic which he posted AFTER I pm not to do it again and twice he did and got someone else to post it too and then he promised to behave himself(that sure didn't last long) I even told him if he had admited HIS mistake I would had cutted his probation to a week but he never admit his mistake, hell he even claims it's not me which is pretty dumb thing to said consider I do know it's me in the pic.

3) You kind of remind me of the Temp from the show The Office. When you showed up at this board you were funny and nice and laid back...although kind of smug at times. The second your name went red, you became a crazed power hungry moderator. You don't act fairly towards anyone. Twylight created a thread with an honest question asking if it sets good precedent for moderators to make laws up as they go and the best you can come up with for a response is "Well, I already did so too late". I think you made a quip about Lackey too. That isn't how you get people to relate to you. That is how you make people see you as a jerk.

You misquoted me on that one, I wasn't making that statement to Twylight but to someone else and I already told her it's up to the other mods if they want to do it too, you have to ask them if they want to did it too, also I don't like to talk to Twy, just stuff she mention in pm's and other stuff I saw she said about me when it's not true and I prefer to keep my distance from her and as for Lackey if you mean I made some remake at him well consider Lackey isn't a nice guy and admits he wants to get banned and says things like this;

In closing, Morg...please step down. You do absolutely no service to the Hype. You are unfair and overreact to pretty much anything and everything. The other, more level headed moderators could in all honesty do a better job without you and keep the peace at the Hype better without a moderator who actually...instigates, situations. I am not saying this to be mean...I am saying it because it is the truth.

I can point some of the usual troublemakers loves to do that all the time and I'm not the only mod that gets headaches dealing with that crap and since you been around for awhile you do know some of those really love causing all kinds of trouble here, sure sometimes I do come heavy handed but that's due because I usually know how much they have actually done, you guys don't always see everything that happen. I admit I have done a few wrongs moves but still I get alot of flake when I do something right alot of you people still claim I had no right to do it even though it's warranted
