I, Frankenstein

it felt like a movie should've released in the early 2000's, along with the first Underworld and Resident Evil. Awful.

This is some poo-poo. I'll go back to watching the Godzilla footage and Thor: TDW clip now.

Once I get home I'll check out the trailer but I'm already betting it will be better than Van Helsing.

Watching this I could not help but think how much it looks and feels like Underworld, then when Bill Nighy showed up I lost it. Had no idea he was in this.

It looks like Underworld only with explosions and more dodgy CGI.

This film, Resident Evli, Underworld, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Van Helsing, Legion. All these movies sort of look a like

It doesn't look like a blockbuster but it has some interesting actors/actresses in it.
My biggest complaint with the trailer was that there was only one shot of Caitlin Stasey.

You forgot I am Number Four and Priest.

BLUE FILTERS...AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE!

It doesn't look as overwhelmingly wretched as Van Helsing. But it does look about as painfully dull and mediocre as Underworld.

I can see why it's getting a January release. It's going to bomb. The CG is dated and noticable. It most definitely fits in the blue filter supernatural movie catagory with lots of action and explosions. Oh and as usual, the entire human race is in peril from the supernatural monsters. Not just a few, but all the humans.

It's something I want to like (interesting in concept, not in execution) but I just don't feel it with that trailer.

no reason to complain about the trailer. lets focus on people who will pay for the ticket. if you will you betray the human race. :oldrazz:

Like any of you are actually surprised by how this looks. :whatever:

There were literally no redeeming shots in the trailer. Every single second of it looked jaw droppingly awful.

I found myself feeling sorry for Eckhart. I mean I know he got paid and he doesn't need my pity but no actor deserves that.

Eckhart doesn't fit these hero action-type roles, in my opinion.

^I agree, he's not an action guy. I have nothing against Eckhart, he isn't a bad actor or anything but he's kinda vanilla. Except for The Dark Knight I always forget him.

I'm sure at this point Eckhart will take what he can get role wise, Battle: Los Angeles proved that long ago.

I'm surprised how dated it looks. I think SyFy can pull better special effects than some of those shots.

Eckhart is probably better suited for a cable TV show and that's not a bad thing. Heck, he could even get an Emmy. Kinda like what Liev is doing now.

I'm surprised Alice Cooper's 'Feed My Frankenstein' wasn't used in the trailer.

They may be saving it for the movie.

This + Sevent Son make for a great camp supernatural B-greatness. :)

''This ends tonight!''

Obviously meaning his career.
