I Got A Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The good thing about working in a CVS...hot chicks that work there.

u know we should make a job thread on hype covering the whole occupational sector ranging from how to draft a basic resume to job interview processes , paycheck cuts etc. i guess it makes perfect sence if you consider the age group that logs into SHH

****! Who you kidding. No hot chicks work their. All the hot young chicks work at super markets or restaurants not places like CVS. Especially were I'm going to work at. Like 2 guys and one old lady lol.

I did not even wanna work at CVS at first but cause all the other jobs I applied too would not respond back or were not hiring I had no choice but to go to CVS.

Or at least that was what they told you. :o

My grandad told me see he a bus driver and he has to pick up the kids in the morning and he last year had me drive with him to pick up the kids and go to the camp.

But what you saying they did not want me back? Lol i was the only black kid working their. Some campers just gave me that stare like ''who this guy?''

I've been working with them for almost four years and i'll i have to say is

Good luck cause you'll need it, while the good news is you will be making more $ than me,

Here's some pointers whatever your manager tells you, get in writing ESPECIALLY if they say "learn photo lab and you'll get a raise in 90 days", make sure you keep a written record of every clock in/clock out. Also there's a good chance they hired you @ this time cause minimum wage goes up in two weeks, and that means the base wage per hour for new hires will go up so whoever gets hired after you will most likely make more than you. Don't take it personal when new people who know less than you make more. Remember that first week when they leave you up front (by yourself) its ok to make mistakes. And if they offer you a promotion within the first six months make sure you have a general idea on what the people in other stores who work that position make. I know of a guy who quadrupled his responsibilities for an extra 30 cents an hour.

But Welcome Aboard

Thanks for the advice man. I remember last year i started working late in the summer around this time at a summer camp and i made more money then everyone their.

Seriously i've worked with two hot chicks the last four years. One was a psycho though Sometimes the pharmicists are nice looking and by nice looking i mean average, but banking, so that makes them above average

CVS sounds like fun. I've been employed at Target for a year now. A lot of hot chicks work there, let me tell ya.
