I've seen him fight a few magical beings by himself and still manage a victory. Hell, he fought in Ragnarock for 1,000 years along side wonderwoman. Even wielded the DCU's version of Miljor after Thor died. From what I've seen the Magic vunrablity thing is overrated.

Until Double Down's magic cards made him bleed.

its not only stupid, it's unrealistic. after leaving for 1000years he'd have to assume she was dead. if he forgot her name he'd forget his love and if wonder woman OFFERED it. well... thats just the most damned unrealistic thing ever.

It may be unrealistic, but partially that's what it was about. Like Anubis pointed out, it was to show just how much Supes loves Lois and what a good man he is. It's not supposed to be realistic. Any other man would've done WW. Superman wouldn't. That doesn't make him an idiot or anything like that, but somebody to look upto. Somebody to respect.
