What I am trying is that when Batman Returns had Christmas a.k.a winter that got me so out of sync when I was 5 because Batman should be in warm not cold. I just hope Mr. Nolan doesn't based this around winter.

That's a fairly stupid reason to be honest. GOTHAM city is fictionally stationed in North Jersey/Southern New York. There IS snow in these places, hell I live in south Jersey and get a **** load of snow every winter.

Nah i think the winter thing is fine its just been overdone in burton's film so if I say any snow in the new Batman movie it would remind me too much of the burton films and I'd be taken out of the movie...what they need to do is show more gritty insides of apartment buildings, that's always pimp.

I liked Burtons Batman Returns but I don't think snow will fit into The Dark Knight, judging from Batman Begins.

I think snow would be an awesome touch!!! Think we have the Joker and having the scene from the long halloween in harvey dents house would be amazing. That was based in the winter and is so incredibly cool.

Winter, Fall, Summer, Spring, Fire Raining from the Sky - I dont care. The Dark Knight will rock my sox.

I forgot aboput that I just Nolan would realize that the movie should follow where it ended.

What do people mean when they say "snow won't fit into Nolan's world" and stuff like that? It's a natural occurring thing. That's like saying it was weird seeing the sun shine during the day in BB. I think people are starting to use the whole "won't fit in Nolan's World" as an excuse for somethig they personally don't want to see, not because they actually believe it wouldn't fit in his world.

Well I suppose it depends on the type of snow, the type of snow in Batman Returns wouldn't fit into TDK, because that was pretty full on, anyways it was more summery in BB.

well in BB was in the summer, then it would be only naturally that the season would move into fall...and then into winter...

That's crazy talk Norm and you know it. I don't want to hear any more of these "seasons" and other witchcraft you brew up in your coven.

What the hell kind of thread is this? Who gives a flying **** if it's winter?

Batman should be in warm, not cold? What, is this a seasonal job he has? Jesus. That's just weird.

TDK could happen straight after BB, otherwise maybe there will be snow.

just imagine this....joker killing someone in the snow. theres blood everywhere. imagining in my head...it already seems cool.

That plus the fact that Joker at Christmas time always seemed cool to me...

what if it takes place during spring and batman has to fight the joker while dealing with itchy, dry eyes?

How the hell does snow not fit into a ****ing movie? I mean, it's not like Batman is synonymous with sunshine.

...WOW. You know, I didn't actually think it was possible. But this forum has reached a new low once again with this "Realism" bullsh1t.

I actually read someone say SNOW wouldn't fit into Nolan's world. God this can't be any worse. My stomache is aching from all this laughter.

soooooooo ditto.
rock my socks right off.

I think the snow made RETURNS look really cool. It gave the movie an eerie feel to it.
I wouldn't mind snow in THE DARK KNIGHT, it is visually more interesting anyway....Unless it is supposed to take place directly after BEGINS, in which case it should still be Summer.

That's funny.

To all you people saying "snow won't fit into Nolan's world," watch the first half of BEGINS, I am pretty sure I saw alot of snow there....:batman::up:
