I know who the new Daredevil is (SPOILERS)

thats what made me think it was bullseye at first, plus he was playing with the coin like he was just about to throw it as a weapon.
But bullseye is in prison.

I suppose whoever it is, if the writing is good enough it could be cool.

But rather than Iron Fist I would rather it be Task Master.
rather than Task Master, i would want it to be Hawkeye.
and rather than Hawk Eye I would rather it be Nick Fury

I don't mind the reveal. Iron Fist has been a struggling B-C Lister for years now. One of the good things about CW is that many of the writers are really trolling through the Handbook vaults and trucking out old characters who hadn't done BIG things in years, if not decades (like Bantam, Thunderclap, Solo, etc). Many of these characters, if they survive, are in a better shape to break into the big time now than they ever have in ages. I mean, when the heck was the last time the NEW WARRIORS were involved in an event and had a great motive for a relaunch again? Or Iron Fist being a character of such suspiscion?

That's been the only advantage of CW to me, because the rest has been dour and reliant on destruction, death, and breaking down bridges.

To add, Iron Fist is a better explaination than Hawkeye because while Clint can fight, Iron Fist is in better position to physically imitate Daredevil. He's a master of a martial art from a mystical realm that puts him on Marvel's Top 10 list of fighters. He can use his Ki to enhance his physical prowess to peak (as in, Capt. America) -esque levels if he wants to (when he doesn't use it to heal others, absorb energy sporatically, or for his "iron fist" attack, of course). Plus, it adds coolness to the fact that "DD" made sure to be with the band of rebels that helped Cage in NA #22.

And, yeah, name me the last time Rand did anything notable before this. I guarentee it was a longer time ago than Hawkeye.

Of course, this raises the question...where is Clint? He left his costume behind in HOM #7, which means somewhere we have angry, nekkid Clint running about...

It irks me that Murduck was winning the fight between them. The fight should have gone slightly in favor of Iron Fist...cuz Iron Fist RULES!

If the difference between DD and Iron Fist's skills is negligible, which I believe to be the case, DD would've had the advantage because, as he noted, Danny wasn't using the clubs for extra range. Danny couldn't use any of his own signature moves, really, because he was trying to impersonate Daredevil. He was basically limiting himself to a different fighting style than he's used to, so he wouldn't be fighting at his best anyway.

actually, I read the comic again and it was an even fight...I just got confused cuz they were both wearing the same thing...

I figured out who the new Daredevil is. I'm quite surprised I figured it out. It just hit me. I just thought of the name in my head, and my next was "of course!". I have not read this in any interview, magazine, article, or message board. I'm sure the name as been thrown out before, maybe I saw it myself on a message board at some time but not that I can remember. I am convinced that my guess is right. So convinced, that I mark this thread spoiler, and ask you to leave the thread if you want to be surprised by the reveal and don't know who it could be. I don't even read that many Daredevil comics! But this is obvious when you think about it. The mystery Daredevil is....






Nick Fury. It has to be Nick Fury. Fury has been off the scene for a long time. He's been underground. The mystery Daredevil has displayyed athletic and fighting capabilities, which Fury has. He has the "Fury" kind of badass smirk. The heroes of the anti-registration side all of a sudden out of nowhere have a hideout that only Fury knows about, but we haven't seen Fury. The new Daredevil is Nick Fury, I am sure of it.
