I Know You'll Have The Dack Stecked Against The Wrestling Thread

I wonder if Finn is going to get a Jericho-level debut when he finally breaks into the main roster. That would be pretty cool.

Nice, I always like seeing footage of the wrestlers in the gym. Now someone needs to combine this with Cena footage with "Hearts on Fire" playing over it.

:woot: Either that or the Montage song from Team America.

Sting is said to be in LA today and expected to be at RAW

I watched the Knockouts triple threat title match from Impact last night, Gail Kim is so good, really underrated by fans on more than one level IMO.

That rocky montage was great.

Could you elaborate on that? I've always considered Gail as somewhat of a modern women's wrestling icon myself. I think a lot of people know how good she is, but she's in TNA and TNA dug itself into a hole where it became irrelevant even to hardcore fans like us, and it's only now showing signs of life.

If TNA ever does finally go down, her only options are going overseas or retiring. Because we all know she's not going back to WWE.

I'm worried that a not enough people are going to know who he is. The same goes for a lot of people at NXT.

Balor's main roster debut should be a massive mark out moment as should Zayn and Owens but I'd prefer to see them debut in front of a smark crowd. It would kill me if any of those guys get a lukewarm response.

These are so great. Botched Spot is my newest guilty pleasure. I can't believe I never heard of them before.

I wonder why "Kevin Nash" is going into the HOF instead of "Diesel" (since last year had Razor Ramon instead of Scott Hall).

I think it'd be rare in this day and age that anyone would get that kind of reaction. Depends on where they debut him as well.

Jericho had the advantage as well of being a player on a rival show from the same country.

I'd love for Balor to illicit such a reaction given he's a fellow Irish man but tbh I'd be genuinely surprised if his debut blows the roof off the place. That being said, I have absolute faith that he can get over.

First thing they need to change though is his entrance as I'm not sure it will translate well to bigger arenas. It's great that they've given him theatricality but they need to tweek it for it to be less, well........naff.

I found out last week that Finn's going to be at the Dublin show on April 9. That convinced me to get a ticket.

At WM, HHH needs to literally break Sting in half, only to have Balor slither out of Sting's carcass xenomorph-style.

That's my idea, make it into reality Dunn!

MUSICAL GUESTS AT WRESTLEMANIA 31
by Mike Johnson @ 3:52 PM on 3/23/2015

In an interview with Billboard.com today, Blink-182's Travis Barker noted that he's learning a song that he, Kid Ink, David Guetta and Skylar Grey will be performing at Wrestlemania 31. He didn't note what the song was or how it will be incorporated into Sunday's PPV.

Barker is a long-time fan.

SCENES FROM UPCOMING MAJOR FILM TO PLAY INTO WRESTLEMANIA ENTRANCE
by Mike Johnson @ 3:09 PM on 3/23/2015

Triple H's entrance at Wrestlemania this Sunday will feature elements and scenes from the forthcoming Arnold Schwarzenegger film “Terminator: Genisys" as part of the new WWE-NBC Universal ad campaign that was launched officially today.

The deal, titled "Hero In All Of Us" was covered by Variety, which broke details on The Terminator connection to the HHH entrance in his bout against Sting, which will be the first of many deals the partnership hopes to put together. WWE will be promoting the new Terminator film through July, when it hits theaters.

The idea is a way to increase ad revenue for WWE programming and also come up with new and unique ways for entities to promote their brands via WWE and NBC Universal.

I suppose it is too optimistic to expect they'll have a working time displacer so the Sting and Triple H from 1998 can be sent to 2015 and wrestle each other instead.

According to WWE.com, Sting will be kicking off RAW tonight

Joygasm!

I want Finn Balor to début on the main roster with a ridiculously extravagant entrance

That Rocky IV montage with Cena and Russev was comedy gold.
