The book is written by someone who was not a member of the seduction community. It is more of a careful and deliberate examination of seduction and attraction. It seems to work, though I don't necessarily agree with it on a purely moral level.

It seems that the methods used, some of them aren't entirely altogether honest. Like, using tricks to boost the confidence of girls with low self confidence.

I don't really want to have to act like an entirely different person to get dates. I just want to be a more confident and stronger me... wiser and stuff.

I'm not looking to get conquests. I want a real relationship.

That's your first problem. You can't "look" for relationships. It's not like you can window shop for them and then just pick the one you want when you save up enough courage. Relationships are built. More often then not they come from friendships that very may well start out with sex (often a common ground for two people to meet on. Everyone likes sex). It sounds to me like you've already gone too far with this Vicky girl for a physical attraction to exist anymore in her mind. Move on, dude. Maybe you'll get lucky and she'll get jealous, who knows?
