the vizio 50 inch has done good by me.

and i just bought a pack of carolina reaper peppers.... so im probably going to die.

i just cant care about the 3d crap.. 4k sure, but its sad because theres really not much out there in 4k... on netflix, there is breaking bad and planet earth... other than that a whole bunch of who cares.

i think i'm going to decide between these:

LG 55" Smart 3D Ultra-HD 4K TV with 2 Pairs 3D Glasses, Magic Remote and HDMI Cable $1400
http://www.hsn.com/products/lg-55-smart-3d-ultra-hd-4k-tv-with-magic-remote/7708816
over the 60" one cuz the 60inch seems to be rather barebones and has only 1 input whereas the 55" has at least 3, as well as comes with an HDMI cord and 2 pair of glasses so i won't have to pay for those.

VIZIO 50" M502i-B1 Smart 240Hz LED 1080p HDTV with 2-Year Warranty $700

i hate that the app store is powered by Yahoo! though :(

house of cards, orange is the new black and some other shows i can't remember are currently filming in 4k.
as for 3D, it's not a dealbreaker for me, BUT i do have at least a dozen films in 3D and from what i read, being a 4k tv with passive 3D is a killer combination for video quality.

CC, I don't know anything about those TV's so I have no advice other than

You deserve it lady! :D

what a big help you are lol

i'll sleep on it.

here comes a rant, sponsored by CC.
My birthday is next month. 2015 has royally sucked. i've had a lot of health problems this year, and i may have to have surgery that will put me out of work at least a month, and i'll be stuck at home i'm sure the majority of it. not looking for pity or anything mind you, just giving background so maybe yall can help me justify this to myself lol

my TV is dying, like a slow painful death. it lasts less than 2 hours before the image starts hopping, and the colors fade to blue and grey. i've had it since 2007. It's a Phillips 50" DLP.
i'm a very selfless person, and never do anything for myself, but i very much want to be selfish and buy myself a new tv, especially if i'm going to be stuck at home for an extended amount of time.

i'm fairly techblonde, but i know i want a tv that's at least 50", 120hz refresh rate or higher and at least 3 HDMI inputs. I'm leaning towards LG, Vizio or Samsung. i don't really care if it's 3D or not, nor do I really think 4K is a must-have at the moment. but suggestions are more than welcome
Best wishes to you dear.
And remember, after the storm comes a rainbow. Have faith that things can get better.

I need to look up this vizio.

Nice, got a job interview tomorrow and it's really close to where I live. I'm hoping I can snag that gig, it sounds super easy. Basically I would be doing customer service for a windshield glass company so it sounds like a sweet gig. I know I'll nail the interview but it all kind of hinges on if they do a background check. From what I can tell though they are just contracted out by this glass company so places like that tend not to look into records too much. What sucks is the charges every company holds against me are actually withheld adjudication so they're not technically supposed to hold them against me yet they always do. But hopefully when I have my hearing in DC to get my discharge upgraded that goes well and then I can get my GI bill and go back to school for IT or something

Thanks to the PSN sale, I picked up the Komplete MK9 for $8. I had it all for 360 but I didn't have Kratos. I murdered the ****er the first time I fought him.

Hey DoD, did my inspirational video inspire you? :p

So I just did a word count on that thing I'm writing and minus a few paragraphs for editing I need to do it comes to 39,000 or so. I'm kind of annoyed since I know what I need to do next but I'm trying to kill some time in between so I'm trying to figure out whether I need to just have a "And this happened over the next few days" or actually go through it. I'm leaning towards the first one with a cut to do some explaining then back to 'The rest of the day went blah blahblah'.

Actually now that I typed it out, it sounds like a good idea. I'll test it and see what works.

Aw man. I have some friends who could really use that brass knuckles family pack. :(

They have five kids.

There's four boys from 4-8 and a girl who is 18 months. I think they could use them. :D

After watching Jurassic World, I wish Capcom would resurrect their old Dino Crisis franchise.

I have the first two on my PS3 but have yet to play them. I heard they were like RE with dinos and I picked them up for a buck each.
