I hate it being so hot out these days. I miss me some winter and cold temperatures.![]()
I thought it was great. They changed just enough about the title character to not make her a weak, spineless doormat while still staying true to the spirit of the story, Cate Blanchett was perfection as the stepmother, the score was gorgeous and I loved Lily James in the title role. It's hard to be natural and convincing as a character that earnest and optimistic, but she just nailed it, imo.Was Cinderella worth watching?
Ok, when someone says "Mondays off" in regards to a work schedule, what do you think that means?
My cousin was the same too.
Anyway, I am working on this story and not sure which direction it should go. Basically its about this guy who goes to this bar and the only reason he goes is because of this woman he has a thing for, but other than that, she has her own problems too. The guy tells her he got dumped by this trashy girl... while the woman has problems with commitments when it comes to relationships... like she finds it hard to see herself be committed to stuff that happens to her, like she doesn't want to get married...she doesn't see herself pledging herself to one man alone. not saying she wants more than one partner at the same time...thing is, she hasn't found the right guy for her while at the same time, she's afraid of getting hurt. so she keeps to herself ...like she has insecurities...
anyway, getting back to the main guy...i was thinking he owes a debt to someone and he can't get out of it and things turn dangerous ...so the woman ends up trying to help him out with stuff...

I suppose you could have it go at least two ways for the debt, the first being a money debt like to a loan shark where he sends out goons o break his kneecaps but she helps pay him back and they get to know each other better. The second being a favor debt like to the mob or something where he has to do something, not money wise, to repay them which may or may not involve her whether he knows it or not.
Okay not bad...although, I started it off with the debt being carried from father to son...what happened was that the father gambled all the money he thought was his and now with the father being dead and all, the son has to cough up what his father owed to the mob or whatever. SOmehow the woman gets involved where she teams up with the main character.
I can kinda picture a scene where she dresses up as a stripper of some sort and goes undercover or something...while he does business with the boss. lol
I don't see why she'd do that for him if she just met him but if you preferred to have the debt swap from money to favor that would be the easiest scene to do it if you established earlier that he had a particular skill set.
If the son doesn't have the money to cover the debt he could try and run and meet up with her on the way. She could try and help him hide at her place or something, getting caught up in the whole thing. They come after him, burn down her house, he goes on the run with her, she's royally pissed at him for everything and things go from there.
So, what's new with you DoD?
Does Jason Parker sound like a good name for a teen who is 16 and sneaks out at night to fight crime?

I dunno man... man I feel stuck.
