I am still very interested in FF. Do I think it will be the best super hero film? Maybe not. But it looks interesting and like it will have some very good action.

One of my local cinemas has a 'VIP' option, which costs a few dollars more but it's 19+. They also have a nice bar, much better washrooms, you can order food from your seat, the seats are excellent, etc etc. But the main appeal, and the reason I try to go there as much as possible for anything I want to see on the big screen, is that most of the audience is usually in their late twenties or older.

Come to think of it, my favorite restaurant/diner has an entirely separate section of the building for people with small children. It was still my favourite place to eat before I knew that part existed, but learning about that certainly solidified it's place.

Based on the soundtrack listing, which is in the proper scene order, the 4 dont get their powers until at least 45-50 minutes into the film and Doom is in a coma until the last 10-15 minutes of the film. And the runtime is only 106 minutes with credits. So this tells you how little The Fantastic 4 are actually in the film, and a portion of the scenes in which the 4 have powers are them strapped to examination tables and doing demonstrations for the military and scientists in closed off rooms.

Idk. It just seems like it could be boring.

its not small children for me... some kids will giggle and make noises out of exicitement.. that is fine by me, makes the movie experience better really, knowing a kid is thoroughly enjoying one of my favorite things to do.. just the babies... its like bringing a deaf blind man to a movie. Age of Ultron was completely ruined for me (not that it wouldnt have been anyway) because a family brought in two babies still in they carriers.

I mean, you can sneeze and upset a baby with the noise... theater stereo scars them for days lol

That's true. When I saw Winnie The Pooh a few years ago, it was fun hearing the kids laugh at silly nonsense. But most of the movies I watch aren't Winnie The Pooh, and kids tend to not behave themselves if they're bored. Actually, I'm being kind of hard on children here, grownups are a much bigger problem behavior-wise at the cinema. The good thing about the VIP theater is, people tend to behave because they've paid extra to be in there (and there's less people, so it's a lot easier to tell who's being a jerk).

Age of Ultron is a great example, why are people bringing babies into a film like that? Some cinemas offer special showings for people with babies. Also the world invented babysitters a long time ago. There's really no (good) excuse.

The movie looks horrible and does not stay true to the source material at all. Also my oath to boycott all Fox Marvel properties stands. One can only hope this movie bombs hard enough that Fox plays ball and sells the rights back to Marvel Studios. Is the world really clamoring for the FOX-Men/F4INO crossover? I think not

No, I'm pretty sure I specifically mentioned the world in that last post. Look at who they are practically begging for advertising: Denny's and some scotch tape brand among other no-name crap. No company wants to be a part of this disaster. It's well-known the only reason this got made in the first place is to keep the rights from reverting. The FOX-Men universe is big enough that they have barely scratched the surface the last thing they need to do is try and bring F4INO into the mix when they are almost starting to crank out movies that don't suck

The trick is to pee right before the movie, then you can have your drink and won't need to go until afterwards.
