I think I like the Captain America movie

I actually do have bootleg DVDs of the Hammond Spider-Man series, and I own the legit Punisher DVD, but I want the uncut version, but I refuse to settle for PAL speedup...

What different versions of Captain America exist? I wanna know!!
I think he's referring to those two Made-For-TV Captain America films that were seen during the late 1970's. Reb Brown played Cap if I am not mistaken.

I havent seen it since I was like, 9 and some local channel played it, I have a bootleg dvd, but havent watched it...I remember liking it then, but I also remember liking Batman Forever then (no, I never liked Batman & Robin, I was always smart enough to see it for what it was)...maybe I should give it another watch though, just to see :o

Oh, yes. Forgot about those.

Hell, with the 1990 version, who cares about Reb Brown?

Maybe so. Might as well if you got the spare time, Joker. The 1990 flick certainly isnt anything to write home about, but I consider it a much better film than that of B&R now that you mention it. Atleast Matt seemed to have taken the role of Cap seriously, where I didnt see anyone taking anything seriously with B&R.

Exactly.

I recorded the made-for-tv sequel to Captain America during one of those Marvel movie marathons on the sci fi channel, years ago. But I dont remember ever watching it since.

The TV movies beyond sucked.

I just got a copy of it on DVD along with the TV movies. It's OK I guess.:yay:

superman i think you signature regarding e benoit matter is inaprpropriate

"Captain America — that was terrible! Didn't expect me to say that? Well, it was terrible. It was a very low budget movie, a quickie; everything about it was not as good as it should have been. Whoever played the Red Skull was pretty good, and the guy who played Captain America … he tried his best, but it was corny; it just wasn't well done." - Stan Lee

I wonder if, by watching this movie, I could figure out what a Captain America movie should be like...it's worked before...

That should be pretty easy. Just do the opposite of everything in the movie. ;)

Damn right it's okay! It's mediocre, and don't you forget it! :D
Yeah!!!!:woot:

No really, It's an OK movie for the budget and script they had. I just hope the next time they do a CA movie that they let the actors ears come through the mask instead of the rubber ears in this movie.:wow: :woot:

They originally did that for Matt Salinger, but he complained the mask was chaffing his ears and so they substituted fake ones.

You know, I never notice when I am watching the movie.

I'm sure that would be a start, but seriously, just doing the opposite of Batman & Robin doesn't give us Batman Begins. Know what I mean? :star: :bat:

I used to watch this movie all the time when I was wee. I think I still have the VHS buried somewhere in a cabinet.

If they are planning a new movie..I really hope the whole thing is set in WW2 ... Let them bring back cap to the present in the Ultimates movie when they decide to do one
