If they did "get it up" for a girl and reproduced with them then they are not gay. And second I know Ian has a sense of humor and I love him for that. He is absolutely hilarious. Having Magneto and Xavier sleeping together would just be weird. And if all characters were like the actors, then they wouldn't be characters but just play themselves.
