IC - Favorite Moments

Ok. Now it's all over, and we've all read, and all tie ins etc and can do this without spoilers etc.

Nominate 2 moments from IC/Countdown/Crossover/Mini's/Special.

Later I've try and make a full vote for the best moment from these.

Mine:

1) "Bart, You're not alone either". I don't know why but the scene were the Flashes take out SBP gets me everytime.

2) "I'll take my chances with them". Highlights how the Crisis has changed Batman, and the scene with Jordan coming to save him, arm outstretch was very well drawn.

seriously though, despite emo-***** superboy, the end of it where Luthor and Joker killed Alexander Luthor was the most bad ass thing ever

-Wonder Woman #219: Wonder Woman snapping Max Lord's neck.

-IC Villains United Special: Oracle and Martian Manhunter gathering every available superhuman in Metropolis to face down every available supervillain after the biggest f'ing prison break on the planet. And DOOMSDAY.

-The scene where all the superheroes were lining up to defend Metropolis and in the frontline for the villains were Dr. Pyscho and Doomsday.

-E2 Supes catching Doomsday's punch with one hand

-Batman lines

-Batman breaking in IC #3

-Wonder Woman killing Max Lord

-Superboy Prime vs Superboy both rounds

...theres more but I'm sleepy, IC had so many badass moments

And I hate to say this....

Watching some of the less then familiar Titans being taken out by SBP and his reaction to it...and in issue 6 he confronts nightwing saying when he faced the other titans, "He wasn't even trying"......

Damn, such a good series....

Superboy's rampage. I had to read it twice to really soak in that he was KILLING PEOPLE.

Luthor destroying the 616 universe. Pretty damn funny.

Batman and Hal becoming friends again.

WW snapping Lord's neck. I believe I yelled "DAMN!" in the store.

I already said my 2, but honorable mention for "the last time you inspired anyone was when you were dead."

Issue 7 alone had some of the greatest moments i've ever seen...

Superman's "Like Hell" speech

Martian Manhunter's "Take to the skies" speech

Guy Gardner's "Thin green line" speech

Luthor's "You didn't let the Joker play" speech

Superboy Prime's "I've been trapped in worse places" speech

but the best of them all...

Batman: "I know what Superman's going through. He doesn't deserve that. Superboy didn't deserve that. What do you deserve?"

* Guy Gardner. He is a God amongst Green Lanterns (in my eyes... I love that dude)

The realization of "A perfect doesn't need a Superman."

It was nice seeing the original Superman with his Lois Lane, along with the Superboy supposedly from our world, along with Alexander Luthor who was created for the story, get their happy ending and be immortalized in the paradise dimension place.

But Infinite Crisis pointed out that infinity in a lonely place, even if it was paradise could drive a couple of young men crazy and how badly the nineties would piss off someone from the forties.

I loved when superboy prime was killing the titans in smallville and then you just saw the read blur and the flashes took over. Also the fact that the normally level headed wally recognised the threat and said "we gotta throw this guy into the speed force", and then he vanished and barry turned up. Great.

the bit where Jonn realises that SBP is actuallt capable of destroying the universe and, only for a panel, everyone just stops dead before taking off after him.

"we shut them down" Nightwing, in completly over his head show superboy how to be a hero.

also in OMAC project when BATMAN gets owned by them and thrown into the water, and then there is a dead panel before superman saves him.

and my favourite small touch, SBP kicking krypto. I laughed my arse off. Whats Krypto up these days?

Superman and Earth-2 Superman taking down Doomsday was the highlight of the series for me. Really sucks that E2 Superman didn't stick around.
