Sequels Ideas for the next trilogy (X4-6) - NOT spin-offs

i've said it before i'll say it again, good luck translating AoA to screen, i am under the impression you don't exactly know what AoA is, but it isn't the future, that would be easy, it is an alternate present where xavier is dead! good luck explaning that to the general public, if you think days of future past wouldn't translate good, there is no chance in hell AoA translates to the big screen

I like...but instead of Dark Phoenix...what about the Goblin Queen for your Jean X5 idea...No Madelyne but Sinister turns Jean into the Goblin Queen and her new powers will help Sinister free Apocalypse. Another thing I always thought would be interesting...instead of using time travel...introduce X-Man or maybe even Cable as a creation of Sinister's...have him kidnap Cyclops and Jean...and X-Man or Cable could be a result of an experiment. Its a way of not using the time travel thing mostly.

Just an idea...take it as you will.

Yeah I wasn't so sure about the time travel thing, but I think it could work if handled right. I mean Bishop would be from the future so if that was explained, time travel wouldn't seem so unrealistic. But my ideas on an X6 are kinda vague compared to my ideas on X4 anyway. It's sort of a combination of elements from Age of Apocalypse and Days of Future Past and the X-men Evo episodes that featured Apocalypse.

well i agree Apacolypse has to be a villan, just cause he is the entity of evil, and is the only villan that can't be reasoned with, or really defeated..

just don't call it age of apacolypse because that is something totaly different

or something like that AoA is completley different then anything that a studio would even atempt to do

if they could pull AoA off, and do it right...i would be the first one in line to buy the ticket, just from what i have seen by the xmen movies so far, i am currently against AoA, until the prove(hopefully with X3) that they can make a Phenomenal Xmen movie

AoA would not work as a movie, and its not just about alternate realities. For the simple reason that to really care about AoA readers had to care about the 616 version of the characters, what was cool about AoA was how twisted and different things were, regular viewers i.e. 99% of the viewing public will get nothing out of it.

A movie with Apocalypse would be so sweet. Everyone would definitely watch it. But they should make it sort of scary with him. I mean the X-men Generation (the kids who like it) are around 12 or 13 so they could do a more scary version with him. That would be interesting because all through out the movie Apocalypse is creating chaos and the X-men have to defeat him somehow. This movie would be extremely popular if it had him in it.

There's a ton of stories to tell, even with the characters from the first set of movies, like Cyclops and Havok's relationship (if Scott lives that is).

But I agree making a movie with one of the veterans like Beast or Storm, with the youngsters is probably the best bet.

I hope Magneto doesn't die, because there's a whole story with Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, although I think they may stay away from Scarlet Witch because her bread and butter story lines were with the Avengers and Vision, so they may be saving her for the Avengers Movie.

In any case I hope this is not the last X-men movie, but if Xavier does die in this one, it may very well be the last.

It would take place four years after X3. (Also Xavier is dead. Scott is not) My idea is to have the Hellfire Club (Emma, Cassandra, Essex, and Polaris) trying to bring forth Apocalypse. Emma is now the Head Master of the School with Scott. Jean is on leave because of the events of X3. Emma is at the school to make sure no one upsets the Hellfire Clubs plan.

One of my desires for next trilogy is Rogue having a main role, like Halle and Famke in the first one, and with a good evolution of her character, in all senses (powers, security...)

Another thing, depending on who lives and who dies, X4 could have the possiblility of having the original lineup:

I think that could be cool, and you could explore Cyke being the leader more, and the relationship of Jean and Scott, something that really took a back burner in the other films.

I like the Idea of bringing in sinister as the new villan I would like to see him hold somenody of high imprtace to the x-men as a hostage, or experament. I would also like to see Gambit but a s more of a villan, well not an actual villan just working for them as a thief for hire type situation to gater more info on the X-Men, in the 5 movie he would turn into more of a good guy due to the fact that sinister wanted him to get info on Rouge. also I think Scott would be running the place, or he could be going crazy due to the fact that Jean was captured by sinister, in this case Storm would run everything, Wolverine would not have as large of a role as he as had in the films so far, I would like to see more of Beast and colossus, and all of the younger kids start to gain bigger roles, basically what everybody in here was saying.

Brigette Wilson Sampras...sick...i hope your kidding...Joan Allen? doing a superhero movie? and good luck getting Katie Beckensale and Jamie King to be bit roles to, both especially Beckensale are way to big to be at least Sage, she isn't that big a character at all...Polaris could be pretty big in the movie, i don't see Jamie King playing her though

no Nick Fury he is getting his own movie

Halley Berry is the last person from the orginal movies i expect to come back, as do most fans...

Jean Grey is probobly going to die, but if she dosen't no sense bringing her back and not Cyclops, you couldn't even do a good Sinister story line with out Cyclops

even though Rogue is young, i have a hard time believing Anna Paquin comes back for a 4th film, i'm not saying she won't but i just don't see it likely

unlikely xavier dies, i know the rumors are circulating, but he has had the final monolouge in both xmen movies, and i suspect they want patrick stewarts voice for those (and plus stewart is loyal to franchise movies like star trek, why would they wanna kill someone off they know they can keep) but if he did, there is one thing you all forget, he is the X in X-men, without him i have a hard time believing Gambit would join, Wolverin, and Iceman would stay, Rogue would stay...

if xavier dies in x3, the xmen might win the battle, but they lost the war if that is the case


the one thing i do like however is Sinister, he is perineally one of my top 5 favorite villans of all time, and it transitions well from the pheonix saga

I've been browsing these forums for years, but only recently started posting so this is going to be long...

Here's my idea for X4:
The young mutant Kevin ( or Proteus, as he will be known later ), still in his teens, spent most of his life in various homeless shelters, ever since he ran away from Muir Island, where he was held partially impriosned, and finally found his home with a group of disfigured mutants known as Morlocks. When a team of bounty hunters tries to capture several Morlocks and the fight escalates into a massacre, Kevin demonstrates his powers and starts a quest for revenge, only Kevin does not know upon who to unleash his vengeance. The X-men, now led by Sean Cassidy ( aka Banshee ) and Hank McCoy ( Beast ) are trying to stop Proteus before he causes damage to himself and others, while also investigating the reasons behind the massacre of Morlocks. From Black Tom Cassidy and some hired guns, through the inner circle of a secret society and it's leader Sebastian Shaw, to the climatic battle with the immortal villain that masterminded the entire thing, a new x-men team will be formed and set things up for an even bigger sequel which would wrap up the whole story.
Ok, now to elaborate the plot and characters. With 3 X-men films and a Wolverine spin-off, it is becoming obvious that Hugh Jackman will get sick of laying the same character for the fifth time and, let's face it, these movies need to refocus from Wolverine to the whole x-men team. With the departure of a cool/badass/loner type that Wolverine personified, the time is right to introduce Gambit. Gambit could be a part of the team that attacks the Morlocks only to stand in their defense when the rest of the bounty hunters start killing them off. Also, if Cyclops bites it ( as mentioned in the review of the script a few months ago ) you can always throw in Havok, his brother. Or, better yet, have Iceman take on the role of the field-leader. There were also rumors of Xavier's death and, although he would be harder to replace, it would be interesting to see the team without the all-powerful, all-knowing leader that Xavier was. This is why I put Banshee as the new teacher, a wise older mutant, maybe even de-powered at the moment as a total contrast to Xavier's incredible mental powers. Also, with no professor around, Proteus becomes even more dangerous because no one can rival his level of power. Angel would have a larger role considering that Sebastian Shaw and The Hellfire Club are in ( and he has family ties to the club ), with him becoming crippled near the end of the movie as a setup for his status as one of Apocalypse's horsemen. Emma Frost must appear as a controversial character, changing sides and trading informations.
And now, the villains. There was more that enough Magneto in the first triogy. Although he is an important character, he doesn't serve this story so he would be either completely out or have a small, cameo-like role, saving him for an apocalyptic sequel. Black Tom Cassidy - the bad guy that starts the movie. Tied to Banshee, he is merely a pawn in the whole plot, taking orders from Sebastian Shaw. Sebastian is no different. Although he believes different, Shaw is manipulated by Sinister - the real mastermind behind everything. Sinister planed to hurt Proteus and make him more hostile so he could be recruited later for his big plans. Sinister would serve his purpose in this movie, he would be moratlly wounded in the end, although his body would never be found. This is very important because the movie would end with a big explanation of everything, when Angel meets a man that can fix his wings. The man would prove to be another mutant, a shape-shifter with great healing abilities - Apocalypse. He would take multiple forms while manipulating the vulnerable mind of the wingless Angel. He could become William Stryker, Mystique, even Sinister ( hinting that they are the same person, adding more mystery to their characters and plans ) and talk Angel into believing that he, Apocalypse, will lead the mutants into a better tomorrow. The fifth movie can then concentrate on Apocalypse and his rise to power. The Four Horsemen, Magneto, everyone. Big battle int he end, Magneto kills Apocalypse, everyone's happy...maybe throw in some Care Bears and have a...sorry...I lost it for a second...

That mean´s that Wolvarine can´t be in the hole movie and that mean´s that there should be a fight between Beast and Wolvarine against Sabretooth so that Wolvarine going to be to the hospital in the beginning of the movie,so that he isn´t needed for the rest of the movie.

ummm i'm not terribley thrilled with no wolverine

i want a comic book style team movie, where the team is adressed, and we can deal with wolverines past in spin off movies

wolverine should be a prevelent character, but not the leader, he needs to be there to bring some yang to cyclops and storms ying when making desicions, always wanting to push it, when they tell him to pull back

he as far as story dosen't need to be there so much, but in every battle they always are ineed of a guy like wolverine, so i don't think you should take him completley out of it, but make him like the 5th most important character as far as story, and then he comes in and kicks sentinal ass, or horsemen, or maurader ass
