...calls your girlfriend cute while the two of you are playing pool as he waltzes by her on the other side of the table and you didn't hear him but she says he said that...what do you do? Nothing? Or talk to the guy?

How about 20 minutes later when he's leaving he calls her sexy...you also don't hear this...on his way out?

Keep in mind, the two of you haven't kissed or done anything really "relationship like" in the billards building so it may or may not look like you two are friends.

The guy in the situation that I observed did nothing.

so you weren't speaking about yourself?

No...I just watched and listened.

I don't have time for girlfriends.

You have two choices, kick his ass or **** your girlfriend.

its best to not get insecure about it since he wasnt in your face about it. and who knows maybe if he knew she was attached, he wouldnt have tried for it.

wait, some random dude walks by, tells your girlfriend that he thinks she's cute, and she tells you? just say something like, "he's right." or something like that. :oldrazz:
if she's really bothered by it then yeah, talk to the guy, but no need to get all confrontational over some (probably drunk) palooka's comment. he can say whatever he wants up to a point, but if he ever crosses a line you can always break the pool cue across your knee and shank 'em. :o

Since I'm not a guy I can't speak for the masculine set. But if a guy were to say this to me I'd tell him I'm flattered but already committed to a relationship with his friend.

Let's shift focus. How would you expect your boyfriend to act?

First, I would find out his name from other patrons of the bar. Then using modern technology, I would find out all there is to know of his life. His friends, family, place of buisness, house, phone number. And then I would start to slowly deconstruct his life, taking away all he loves, and holds dear. When he finally thought he had nothing more to lose, that's when I would cholorform him, and the torture would begin. He would wish for death for months before I would finally grant him that sweet release into nothingness.

But I've been told I'm slightly jealous and sometimes reactionary.

Hmmm....that's a tough question since I don't officially have a boyfriend in the first place. I assume if I did he might get a little territorial and politely let the other guy know this is a hands off, look but don't touch situation.

Hit the guy over the head with your pool stick, then have sex with your girlfriend on the billiard table. :hehe:

Yeah, I think you'd have to give up your people watching at the local billiards hall in order to keep a girlfriend.

You don't do anything unless the guy's being rude about it. The most I've ever had to do about it is say something like, "I'll remind her that you think she's 'sexy' while we're having sex tonight." I may have spiced it up with something more descriptive, but usually they get the idea and move on.

Also if they're being harmless, why wouldn't you want people (guys or girls) to find her attractive or sexy. Remember, she's with you. Have a little confidence.

:hehe: That's a terrible "In your face!" line.

Have you checked your crotch lately? You seem to have misplaced your balls.
:oldrazz:

jp. I agree with this guy, what does it matter if your girlfriend doesn't mind. If she's offended and hurt or creeped out by it then sure go ahead do something but if she was laughing about it, well it's nice to be noticed every now and again. Just shame on you for not doing it first :cwink:
