So Sony's treating the Spiderman movies like the PS VITA SD cards? In which they'll never learn their mistakes or fix them? K.
After the atrocious ASM2, I'm still not convinced we're getting ASM3.

I doubt it. People still went to see a WB Batman movie after Batman & Robin.

I don't see how Sony can possibly expect audiences to wait four years for a sequel to an underperforming film and still expect to make money. Marvel would just ship Spider-Man to Netflix but I have faith that they'd tell a better story. Plus, Sony is keeping Kurtzman around for reasons I can't even imagine.
It's telling that I have more faith in Fox's Fantastic Four reboot which Fox has done next to no promotion for than I do for any of Sony's Spider-Man films. I am that pessimistic.
I mean, Marvel Studios has Feige and Whedon and there's not the potential for James Gunn to become more of a producer as well. Fox has Lauren Schuler Donner, Mark Millar and Simon Kinberg and to some extent Bryan Singer. Sony only has Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach and Alex Kurtzman producing the films and none of them have a fanbase but all of them have very vocal detractors. The only person they have going for them on the production side is Drew Goddard who's handling a Spider-Man movie told from the perspective of villains.
that's not doing spiderman justice
Not sure if serious.
ASM3 could be the greatest thing since sliced bread and we still wouldn't get ASM4.
Spider-Man 4 was announced for May 6, 2011 and look what happened.
Amazing Spider-Man 2 was the worst received critically and financially Spider-Man movie of all time. The series doesn't have any magic and has already ran it's course after the first one.
Spider-Man needs to be left alone to rest for about 8-10 years before he gets another movie. Then hopefully a Chris Nolan type character comes along to give him the respect and treatment he deserves on the big-screen again.
Just my opinion.

Neither is omitting the hyphen in his name... feels bad man
I'm just joking around. But all that aside, I don't think we're going to see ASM4, at least not as part of the main series. I don't see S6 doing even as well as ASM2, so I don't think we'll be seeing ASM4 as a continuation after ASM3 unless it's a spinoff sometime in the future, both canonically and realistically.
