You say the world doesn't need Gambit8370, but ever week when new comics come out, I hear people crying for me to b***h about them.

Each night I also hear the lady in the townhome across from my yard screaming "OH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD!!!"

One of these days I'm gonna go ring her doorbell and go, "You called?"

I would fire Bendis and bring in some people from DC.
Get rid of one or two spider-man books.

He's their #1 writer because they MADE him their number 1 writer. They can MAKE someone else their number 1 writer.

Personally, I'd put him back on Daredevil and give him a turn on some other street level heroes. Hell, I'd even let him take a stab at the Punisher.

I'd put COMIC BOOK writers on my big books, and TV WRITERS on the books that need the sales boost.

Bendis is off Daredevil because he was done with it. He said everything he wanted to say for right now. You can't just put a writer on a book if they have no stories left for the character, you can't force them to write it. Don't you think Marvel would beg for Frank Miller to come back to it? Of course they would, but Frank doesn't want to do any DD right now. Besides, don't you like Brubaker's run?

He made a name for himself on DD and powers, etc., so they put him on their biggest books. They can do that with any writer. He's just way out of his element on big gun superhero books, which a LOT of people can agree on.

Fine, don't put him back on DD. Give him Heroes for Hire or something along those lines. The Pulse was a good fit for him, give him stuff like that.

Boost your weak books with big names, give your big books with strong writers.

Marvel's problems have nothing to do with who is or isnt writing their books...I have no doubt that JMS could write an awesome Spider-man....the problem with Marvel is the direction of their books and their method of marketing which is shock after shock after shock. You can only throw ***** at the wall to see what sticks before you realize you have *****ty hands

Firing Bendis doesnt solve any problems. All it ends up doing is giving DC another big writer who will outsell any writer you replace Bendis with because of the name.

Its a lot easier to say you would do something than to actually do it. You wouldve kissed his ass and youre not fooling anybody. Even Gambit would be cordial to him...maybe.

Oh, I've confronted "famous" people with the truth before. I would have let him have it about how awful NA has been, and told him he works best on street level stuff.
