The background story to "Midsummer Night's Dream" being a commissioned play by Dream of the Endless along with Orpheus' story was such an awesome idea.
If Neil Gaiman were to do something similar for another writer/story, whose would you pick?
Myself personally I think Edgar Allan Poe would be a great choice. The guy was dark and lived a mysterious life. He also had an obsession with death. Plus the mystery surrounding his "missing week" prior to his death, well it's a story waiting to be written.
