If Sandman survives the third movie, do you think we'll see him in Spider-Man 4 with Hydro-Man? It is kinds doubtful that he'll survive, but I hope so. Plus, THC said that he'd like to return.

That would be cool. I always thought Hydro-Man is a great villain and if Raimi could put sandman, then why not Hydro-Man. Yeah, I agree Sandman and Hydro-Man would be great to see on-screen.

I hope he does live but I dont want to see him again anytime soon.

if sandman survives he'll be in custody and will not appear in sm4.

I doubt Sam (Or whomever directs) would bring him back that soon. I'm thinking/hoping Lizard.

Sandman won't survive because in the movies continuity there's no place to hold a guy who can turn into sand prisoner. They don't have something like the vault. And Hydro-Man would just be seen as a watery rip-off of Sandman to the general public, so we won't see him. Anyway, Marko will probably be lunge at Spidey during the construction site battle and accidently throw his own body through a cement truck, get covered by it and die.

Raimi doesn't like to repeat villains.

Well maybe after Green Goblin and Doc Ock, someone(Tony Stark) funded a project to build a special prison. I remember something about Tony funding Magneto's prison in X-2.

They could probably do something like that, but since Raimi likes killing off villains it doesn't have a huge chance of happening. Killing villains off is less time consuming and more dramatic, but that's a good idea

Even if he does survive I don't think he will appear in Spider-Man 4.

Yeah Raimi doesn't repeat villains, which is good, so we won't see ol' Sandy after 3. Hydro-Man has a better chance of appearing in 4.

As I understand it, Raimi has a fascination with the Spiderman from the 60's so it's likely the Lizard would make an appearance sooner than any 80's villain.

I wasn't saying Hydro-Man had a good chance of appearing, I was just saying even he had a better chance of showing up then a villain already used.

For real?

The only way I'd see Sandman returning is if they ever bring in the Sinister Six.... he'd be pretty much guaranteed a place in those ranks, if that does happen.

It was either a story on the Hype or I read it in my local newspaper that Raimi likes the original villains best.

I'm not saying that the next villain is going to be the Lizard, but who else is left?

It probably wouldn't be the vulture, except as a minor villain.

The scenario I'd favour is Kraven reading about the Lizard and coming over to hunt it and the Spiderman having to try and prevent Kraven from bagging the Lizard and trying to help the Lizard revert back to Doc Connor.

That'd be a cool story, imo.

I just don't know how they would portray Kraven without making him look like a joke.
