Anyone know where this pic of Randy Savage holding the WWF title and IC title is from?

Not sure when exactly. But I think it was during a match against Rick Rude or the Honky Tonk Man when Savage was WWF Champion, and one of the latter were the IC Champion.

WWE® INVITES GLENN BECK TO GET RAW

STAMFORD, Conn., February 22, 2013 – WWE has extended an invitation to talk show host and political commentator, Glenn Beck to appear live this Monday on Raw, in response to a segment that aired on TheBlaze TV yesterday. In the segment, Beck references WWE as “stupid wrestling people,” when criticizing a recent WWE storyline involving WWE characters Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio®, Jack Swagger® and Zeb Colter®. WWE is giving Beck the opportunity to address our 14 million weekly viewers and our global fan base, as he believes we are offending our “conservative” fans with this storyline.

Similar to other television shows and feature films, WWE is in the entertainment business, creating fictional characters that serve as protagonists or antagonists. To create compelling and relevant content for our audience, it is important to incorporate current events into our storylines. WWE is creating a rivalry centered on a topical subject that has varying points of view. This storyline was developed to build the Mexican American character Del Rio into a hero given WWE’s large Latino base, which represents 20 percent of our audience.

Only if Kane tombstones Beck. Twice.

Wait, Swagger was actually gonna WIN the title???

Well, it would've had to be done to justify giving him this attention and all...bah who am I kidding, that was...

Swagger is a doofus. He had a massive push handed to him on a silver platter and decides to get high. I hope the boys are laughing at him.

If he only receives a suspension and does get to return, he'll be midcard for a loooooooooooong time.

He'd be lucky to be a midcarder. More like he'd be the midcard jobber, like Chris Masters was.

Miz and Maryse are a perfect couple. They each know the exact same number of wrestling moves.

Triple H and JBL have taught us that racist heels usually win.

Yea but Triple H and JBL were good. Jack Thwagger is not.

And Miz has a solid moveset.

Miz interview:
On people comparing him to be ‘The next Ric Flair’: “I will take that and I will run with it, thank you very much. You know, that’s a compliment and a half because Ric Flair has done everything there is to do in the WWE; he is a living legend and has touched so many people through the years upon years, decades I guess you could say, of the work he’s done for this business and where he has come and where he has brought it is just incredible. I mean, he is ‘the man’, and will always be ‘the man’. So, if can style and profile like Ric Flair, then I will do the best I possibly can; if people want to say it, perfect. ”

I'm confused. Who are these people calling Miz the new Flair?

No one is calling Miz the new Flair.Miz cannot in any way compare to him, not even in his later years.

And I wouldn't mind Maryse pulling her moves on me :oldrazz:

Just watched 4 reviews of Snitch, all positive, and they all praised The Rock's performance. I'm interested in seeing it now.

I'll be seeing it later tonight!

I hope it's good...basically, I'm watching it because of Dwayne because the plot certainly doesn't interest me; it being just a hopeful badass Rock movie is fine enough.

From the reviews it seems that it's more about the characters and the message than action. Just so you know what you're walking into.

Jon Bernthal, Michael K and The Rock in the same movie? NO WAY I'm passing. Seeing it tomorrow, hopefully.

So does that mean that we can expect Miz to keep on wrestling well into his 50's and to the point where he looks like he has several layers of skin that's just waiting to be peeled off while having married several woman only to have divorced them all and lose several millions of dollars in the divorce settlements?lol

Zeb's message to Beck:

Dirty Dutch telling it like it is. So sick of people acting like wrestling isn't allowed to reflect society. South Park tries to stir up controversy all the time.

Perhaps because he most likely won't be remaindered as one of the best all around performers in wrestling history.

Bobby Lashley's baby momma. Still looking good.

I've always had a thing for Kristal Marshall. She's had two children with Lashley (a boy and a girl...both look just like him), and she looks amazing!

Do they come on stage and point while Kurt Angle laughs like a maniac?

1.) Valid point, but we've already had this match at a Money In The Bank, SummerSlam, and one other PPV if I recall correctly, plus probably a few Raw's, and Punk has emerged victorious everytime. Now, on Monday Night, Cena is unfortunately going to get the win, they'll both have had their wins over each other, the WWE Championship has already been involved. What more can be done to make this feud bigger than it already has been?

And let's be honest, the best part of this entire feud was CM Punk winning the title and walking out of Chicago, and the company, with the title.

The feud with Cena is nothing new, and I just kind of feel like Wrestlemania should be a bigger main event than something that we've already seen numerous times on lesser PPV's. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the simple face is that CM Punk should be the one facing The Rock at Wrestlemania, and if The Rock is gonna lose to anyone (and he's gotta drop the belt eventually) it needs to be to Punk. As you know, I'm not normally a fan of "the rub", but in this instance, a win over The Rock is not going to get John Cena over anymore than he already is, and will probably only make him more hated by men over the age of 11. He's already as over as he's going to be, so unless they are going to do a drastic shift in his character (which I would bet money against it happening), winning the belt from The Rock won't amount to anything. It won't "make" him, he's already made. It won't "endear" him to the crowd, the people who already hate him will only hate him even more because of it. It's not going to make those people come around. But in this case, I find an exception to the rule that I typically believe, in that all around, from an entertainment and from a business standpoint, The Rock v. CM Punk is the better way to go. CM Punk as a character has more to gain from beating The Rock, and the feud between the 2 guys is already better than The Rock v. Cena feud last year. And that's simply because CM Punk is a better character than John Cena.

2.) Yea, I get that, and I hate that, because Jericho should be holding a title, not jobbing to everyone in the company, but if he does have to job out and put someone over, it should be someone good, like Dolph Ziggler, not Ryback. Ziggler has earned the right to be put over, and it needs to happen. Ryback... he has an entertainment value about him, sure, but he shouldn't be getting wins over an all time great like that.

1. I agree 100%, the problem is WWE don't put enough effort behind any of the regular roster to give Punk or Cena a star main event match-up at a show the size of WrestleMania 30.

I'd almost be willing to bet right now that Punk and Cena will both be working part timers again next year, in fact that term is losing meaning as the guys getting the spots at Mania don't even work enough times a year to be called part timers.

I hope in years time people can point at this post as laughably misjudged as WWE have spent the rest of 2013 positioning talent on the current roster so that they are capable of being the main events of Mania 30 opposite Punk or if it must be, Cena.

2. The thing with Jericho is the same as HBK, he doesn't feel like he needs a title to make a big impact, he's beyond the titles I guess. I'm not keen on any Roidback push so you'll get no argument there, but if I were of the mind that he needed to be made to look good at Mania, then Jericho is the man that can make it happen.

- We noted earlier that Cody Rhodes participated in a post-RAW segment with The Rock in Lafayette earlier this week after the show went off the air. Cody actually volunteered for the segment and pitched the idea of him going out and taking a People's Elbow and Rock Bottom.

- WWE sources note that Jack Swagger was scheduled to win the World Heavyweight Title from Alberto Del Rio at WrestleMania 29. No word yet on what his arrest means for booking plans but WWE creative was working late on Wednesday night to come up with ideas, which doesn't sound good for Swagger and Zeb Colter.

There's talk that if WWE officials saw fit to change the direction of the match, then Dolph Ziggler would most likely get the WrestleMania match with Del Rio.

If Swagger ends up suspended and loses the WrestleMania match, the arrest altogether would cost him upwards of $250,000.

Smart move on Cody's part, hopefully that initiative will be rewarded as his gimmick right now is that he has a mustache.

I can't believe Swagger was set to win, surely WWE are not that stupid, plus how the hell is Ziggler a back up plan instead of the main plan? talk about ass backwards.

Not sure when exactly. But I think it was during a match against Rick Rude or the Honky Tonk Man when Savage was WWF Champion, and one of the latter were the IC Champion.

Are you guessing based on the timeframe? or are you going off seeing something on dvd years ago? It can't be Rude as he won the IC belt at WrestleMania V, the same night Savage lost the WWF title.

In a year's time this needs to happen:

- Dolph Ziggler as a permanent main-eventer and world champion.

- Daniel Bryan elevated back to main-event status and going after the world title.

- The end of Shield, all three rising up the ranks.

- Cena starts to losing to people not Rock or CM Punk. Or Lesnar. Or Taker. Or Triple H.

I hope the in-fighting between the heels during the 8 man tag on Impact means TNA are going to give us Aries/Roode vs Bad Influence at Lockdown.

I didn't realize Velvet had won the KO title, I must have missed it when I read that batch of UK spoilers from a few weeks ago. Personally I thought Tara's heel run as champ deserved a better ending than first pinned in a 4-way, and why not save Velvet's win for the Lockdown PPV?

Bully Ray is trolling hard with his "I'm so honoured" stuff with Hogan and Sting, he's got the crowd buying it as well lol. The highlight this week was him hobbling up the ramp to get to his wife and an injured Hulkster, as the camera focused on the Orange one laying in agony we heard Bully coming with a shout of "DAD!!!" :lmao:
