You just lost all your creditability. How old are you 15? If there is a reboot, it will be in 7-10 years.

Famke will be in her Early 50's or late 40's

Angela who refused the role several times, wants nothing to do with it would be in her 60's...oh by the way, the next replacement for Storm would be Christiana Millian. If you don't know who that is Google her. Not only can't she act, she can barely sing. Before her or on screen talentless Beyonce is ever Storm, I'll jump off a bridge and land on whoever casted her in that part.

If James knows what's good for him, he should stay away from the Curse of the Cyclops roles.

Enough crap is enough. Either its a well written WELL BALANCED tv series or nothing.

What you want is the Geriatric-men:o

Hi X-Maniac,
You do have a point about them now being able to be a bit more adventurous. The idea of some hot X-guys in tights is kinda appealing, especially Gambit who we have yet to see onscreen. Of course they can't go too overboard. (For example, I don't think movie Wolverine should do the full regalia from the comic book and they should definitely not have Gambit wear the outfit he wore for pretty much the first ten years he was in the comic, but of course keep the trench coat.)

And it is interesting to note the first two X-Films were a bit like the first two batman films in regards to having a dark, brooding feel.:meow:

well obviously im talking about if they did a reboot right now,not in 10 years,in 10 years i would have a whole new cast obviously :oyou want millan?wow...just wow ok how abut this, dont think of my castings for a reboot just think of it for recastings

Hells no, I don't want Millian for Storm. FOX DOES.

That should tell you something. They neer had any intention of going anywhere with the Storm character.

Tell me, what's the difference between Beyonce and Millian? Last time I checked Storm (minus the exception of Hudlin's writing) wasn't into hip hop. What the heck would either one bring to the character?

i dunno but i would rather have beyonce than millian, but w.e,those were just castings from the top of my head,i didnt put thought into them

No kidding. Beyonce has never acted in her life. She can't pull of the one trick pony that Halle does. Hal can do the desperate-vulnerable-woman thing very well. In fact all of her best roles fall into that category.

Storm is and never was, unless its about the claustrophobia's, which she's always pulled threw, generally alone. So yeah, in a sense Halle isn't the right choice. But since that never happened, and Storm is SINO, none of that matters.

Unless Ororo belts out a tune, for no apparent reason, neither one of those other "actresses" are needed.

what beyonce has acted, shes a pretty decent actress imo

WHAT! In what? Every time she's been in a film, she sounds as if she's still reading of the que cards. No inflection in her voice, no expressions on her face, no different kinds of characters. Always the singer with man problems.

Its like watching Robocop pretend he's a sexy singer.

Well, I always thought X-Men the Musical would be a fun idea. What do you guys think of that idea for the reboot? I can just see it now, Storm busting out into song in the middle of a battle, a chorus line of Magneto and his Acolytes, and the greatly passionate love song y'all been waiting for between Gambit and Rogue. (Complete joke, but I LOVE musicals.)

Polite way to put it.

I'll go the concise route and say she flat out sucks. :D

Halle Berry can keep the role of Storm. On the People's Choice Awards last week, she encouraged fans to support an X-4 and said that she'll be there. This goes to prove how awesome she is. At first, I was disappointed that she was Storm, but soon I realized that she was perfectly fine in the role. It's just the weak writing of her in the first two films, though it did get a bit better in X-3.

Anyhow, and if your were wondering, Patrick Stewart will gladly return as Professor X for the possible X-4. He was born to play the role.

And of course, I happily await the movie appearance of Gambit. C'mon people, you know you want him.:cwink:

I think that they should just do a prequal to the first move it could be great and I wouldnt want singer nor ratner to do it I dont have any thing against them i just wouldn't want them to direct it. And if they did a reboot I say make it less 'realistic' some of us want the aliens and other things that make the comics so freakin cool.

Yeah, they sacrificed the essence of the comic for the sake of being realistic. I never read the comics for the sake of realism. If they plan to reboot the series, then a prequel would work. But since I'd want Gambit and Rogue, later X-Men with Rogue appearing in the 80's and Gambit in the 90's, they'd probably not be in it. The creative staff would go with the original X-Men for a prequal.:word:

a complete new restart, and rather than a realism take, a nice surrealist piece, much more like the animated series, rogue with ms marvel's powers and stuff, while realism works well, I wanna see a more off the wall approach to filmmaking thesedays as the realism element is being overused and stagnating the cinema pond

If one day in the future there is a new x saga, yes, would be nice some kind of the "Star Wars" of the X-men. Firstly introduce the x-world, the school, the society afraid, etc, but then a phoenix saga like the comic, that would be cool and all would love it. that new saga could be good too, less realistic, but well done, with character developments and good sets, make-up, action, etc, like in Star Wars.

Who would you want at the helm? Would you want Singer for a restart? Or a completely new face to the franchise?

No singer is way overrated. All I can say about singer is that with him x1 and 2 didn't suck. X2 was good, but i would rather someone to give us a more faithful adaption and better action.
