The Amazing Spider-Man If Venom is used again, this is how he should look!

You don't need rage to create a beastly-looking monster with Venom's fangs, teeth, and claws, just the imagination to conceive of it, and the symbiote manifests it. That's how the symbiote works and always has.

I think we have a different vision of Venom. I've always saw Venom of how he was in TAS and TSSM and that made me pretty much hate S-M 3's version.

Those teeth are Brock's? Da f***?

I always thought it was the symbiote's teeth.

Those teeth, tongue and nails were all symbiote. For some reason, the symbiote gave Eddie fangs which was dumb, imo.

Apparently we do. In his original appearance in Amazing Spider-Man # 300, Venom's teeth were just Eddie Brock's teeth, or at least normal in appearance. They weren't even sharpened.

He didn't have sharp teeth until his second appearance in Amazing Spider-Man # 316.

Thus, I believe the teeth are Eddie's.

That may be in comics, which I don't rarely read, and I've only been accustomed to TAS and TSSM where the teeth, tongue and nails are from the symbiote itself, which I much prefer. Were they Peter's teeth when he saw his reflection in TAS? No, it was the symbiote's personification of trying to turn Peter into something more. That's what I like about Venom. The symbiote is essentially trying to corrupt any man into becoming this evil entity by using his host.

Edit: Damn lag.

Personally, I prefer the idea that the symbiote influences the host, but not directly control them, and the host, in turn, gives the symbiote an identity.

That, imo, is the only part of Spider-Man 3 that would have been awesome. The symbiote, in the novelization, ate away at Eddie and left him just as a pile of bones and then tried to go after Spidey. That would've been the ideal reasoning of my preference of Venom and would've been amazing. Just the fangs on Eddie...hated those, haha.

I didn't read the novelization, but the symbiote eating away at Eddie until he's only a skeleton sounds incredibly stupid.

I really need to learn how to delete a post.
I wanted to do that several times.

It's the exact opposite. The novelization was very dark in regards to the symbiote and Venom, the very opposite from what we saw in Spider-Man 3. And the symbiote fed on Eddie while it was using Eddie as a host and when it seemed that Venom was defeated, it left Eddie's bones as to show it was the symbiote that was "Venom" and it ate away at Eddie and then pulled itself up to then go after Spidey, trying to latch back unto him. I would've loved to see this as that's exactly how I would've portrayed the alien symbiote in a Spider-Man film.

So, no...it was not incredibly stupid, lol.

In fact, there are pictures of the symbiote trying to grab at Spidey during the final battle, so to a certain length, it was filmed, but didn't make the final cut.

I know, my bad :csad:

I know! I personally write "Please Delete" on my multi-posts for that reason.

Will they delete them?

No, it's still incredibly stupid. We never saw any hint it was eating at Peter, and he had the symbiote far longer than Eddie Brock did, so it's inconsistent, and it makes no sense. Why the hell would the symbiote keep the bones if Eddie's been consumed? Why wouldn't it try to consume anyone else?

It's just stupid, and a pointless change from the comics.

Will they delete them?

I don't know.

With how the symbiote was pissed off once Peter tore it off and how it clinged and pulled on Eddie on taking him over, it makes sense for how the symbiote stayed pissed off to the point of eating away at Eddie. Look at it this way as well, the symbiote was making Peter look way more pale than even when the spider bit his hand, so while not making Eddie look like some goth kid, it eating away at Eddie made some sense, imo.

And also...if you want to speak on inconsistency, let's bring up something that's way more inconsistent than what we're talking about...Peter being able to rip off his black-suited "mask" so easily...that's a pointless change when the symbiote should have done what it did with Eddie during the final battle.
