If given the chance, which character(s) would you most be interested in taking control of for a spin-off?

EDIT: Multiple choices can be made.

Psylocke

Jubille

Collussus

and i forgot Juggs

Jean already got her story told in X3, Wolverine had 2.5 movies about him. I think what's needed is a really well written TV series. It doesn't matter who acts in it. If the script gives each character a chance to tell a story from begining to end, then I think it would gather a wider audience.

But to answer the question. Here are the list of people who I think had little or backstory, and not enough of the plot devoted to them: Storm, Angel, Scott, Psylocke, Beast, Colossus, Kitty, and Mystique

I just cant see a cyclops Spin off at all. I really dont get it. I mean he's got a good p;lot just not good enough and after what had happened to him in X3 do you want them to give him trash again? (if he is alive of course)

Scott, Jean, Angel, Iceman, Hank, Kitty, Colossus & Rouge.

Angel
Cyclops
Jubilee
Mystique
Rogue
Shadowcat
Siryn
Others

Wolverine
Rogue
Storm
Mystique
Jean Grey

Not because I am a fan of hers, but Rogue would make a great spin-off character. Her past actually involves many Marvel characters people would love to see. From Mystique & Lady Deathstrike to Destiny & Sunfire:up:
Plus it would pave the way for good development for Rogue.

Rogue and Mystique spin-off. Maybe through in Magneto. It would show how they would adjust to being cured and then being uncured. a relationship between Rogue and Mystique after feeling betrayed, Rogue would not feel welcome at Xavier's even though Storm would let her stay and Mystique doesn't really need and explantaion. Rogue could get new powers.

Storm

Reasons:

Keep the same actress and you've got something entertaining and worthwhile to watch.
Storm (although not a favourite character of mine) has a lot ofpotential to cross over many different themes (gender/race).
Her chacacter is very passionate.

Damn Jean grey is tight with Rogue and Mystique. but anyway Jean Grey is a very complex character and my fav. so i will love to watch a spin off of her.

Scott, Jean/Phoenix, Storm and Cable/Apocalypse

Cyclops --
In a perfect world, I would make a first person shooter video game starring cyclops, however, I would also love to do a film on him because he is such a strong, passionate character, and he always keeps it all bottled up... when he lets it out, there's this big payoff and that makes for great storytelling. Cyclops has always been my favorite.

Jean/Phoenix --
Someone needs to tell the cosmic stoyrline in a way that makes sense. All this abstact baloney and time twisting un-re-retconning madness makes Phoenix an ugly subject. Time for someone to tell a definitive engaging Phoenix story that takes into account her grand scope without relying on trival silliness like body doubles and mind control. I could tell a good story about what it's like to be a goddess (no experience, but, you know...)

Storm --
She has the greatest and most diverse backstory of any X-Man, with the possible exception of Wolverine (cuz he got to blow more stuff up)... Storm is also one of the most widely skilled X-Men around. She has a scope that covers the whole world and I beleive I could tell that story as well.

Apocalypse should be told... I'd even prefer seeing a period peice of his rise to evil (ala Scorpion King, but cooler and more powerful),

nightcrawler would be a good stealth movie and orgin and have them explain why he wasnt in X3

I think Gambit should be there. It could explain why he wasn't in any of the films. Or create a lead-up for his appearance in X4, so that his back story has been done already.

:xmen: GAMBIT. duh. Why wasnt that on the list. this is the most obvious choice. oh --- by the way --- i heard again some one say they wanted nightcrawler's dissapearence from the movies explained---well it is explained in the video game--- so was the whole sentinal thing but thats another story for another post.:xmen:

I think a Mystique movie would be amazing. I'd would be bold, beuatiful and very blue.

All right, to you people saying Gambit should be on the list:

THE LIST IS MADE OF CHARACTERS THAT HAVE BEEN IN THE MOVIES.

That last option is where Gambit could be considered
"OTHER: Another character not featured on this list or in the X-movies"
Vote for that if you want Gambit but quit complaining his name isn't spelled out for you like the rest of the characters.

His name was in it, that doesn't count. It's like saying T.H. White was in it because his name was on the book that Magneto was reading.

But, anyway, if I were a filmmaker, I would stay away from solo spinoff films. It's just a way to try and make more money. Thing is, it hardly ever works. Not only does it not work on the silver screen, it doesn't work on the television, either.

A Wolverine movie would probably make the most money, but it would no way in hell make the same amount of money that a X-Team film could earn.

So, if I was making a spinoff film, I would most likely make a prequel of sorts, revealing to the audience and fans the X-Men's first adventure against Magneto or some new villain. The roster would include Cyclops, in an effort to give him more of a leader-type role. Jean would also have a large role in the film (pre-Phoenix, of course). With Storm and Beast also on the team, there is always the oppurtunity to bring in a character that has yet to be introduced. Banshee, perhaps? Havok? Maybe even Forge?

I'd have set in a X-Men Evolution-type storyline, showing the X-Men in hiding at first and then be revealed to the general public.

But, what the heck, that's my two cents.

A prequel or any other X-Team combo (including some of the older castmates) would generate the most money.

:xmen:i like your idea -- im not a big fan of the spinoffs, i have a feeling theyd turn out catwomen-ish. So id be all for a prequel:xmen:
