Which FF member is best suited for a solo movie?

So i see that The X-Men's Magneto is definitely getting a solo movie.

Thats great. He's a cool character and all, but honestly; if only ONE Marvel villain was to get a spin-off movie, shouldnt it be Doom?

Well the Magento movie is going to be a prequel right? Its good that way because we can see his origins. The doctor doom movie would have to be more of a spin off because the FF4 movie showed what happened to him so it wouldnt make sense for them to show it again.

I think The Thing would do best for a spinoff movie, because he's the one with the biggest problem.............he hates his powers. They could make something similar to x-men 3 where people find a (CURE) for his powers and he has to decide whether or not to get the treatment.

You're on to something! You guys ever read Marvel Two In One #50? Reed develops a cure for Ben, but it turns out it would only work if applied shortly after Ben was first transformed into The Thing, so Ben goes back in time to give it to himself, and ends up getting into a vicious fight with his earlier version....

That might be cool to see.

The Thing, but I would't be real thrilled about a solo movie. I don't think any 5 of them{including DOOM} would do quite well.

The thing about that is the fact that what made it so effective was Sue turning on her family.....if they appear with her in her "solo" movie, then it just becomes another FF sequel, no?

Maybe that would be a good opportunity to introduce Alicia's step father, Puppet Master,and perhaps even his occasional ally, The Mad Thinker? (that way, we'd at least get a great slug-fest between Ben and the Thinker's Android)...

The Thing. The premise for the movie would be quite easy to get him on a solo adventure. It's an old format, but would work well IMHO. The beginning of the film starts off with Ben having a big fight with Alicia. Then the constant barrage of gags pulled on him by the Torch, but also the Yancy Street gang. Ben is fed up and needs a vacation away from everybody.

Then he goes away someplace remote for what he thinks is a nice quiet vacation. Except here, (insert villian here) learns the Thing is nearby and thinks he is there to disrupt the villians plans. Then all hell brakes loose.

Whoever the villian would be, would have to be somebody with lots of underlings (living or robot) for the Thing to "clobber". Who would want to see a Thing movie if he is not punching the daylights out of his enemies?
