If you were a mutant, how would you live your life?

Simple question. Not asking powers, asking life choices.

Personally I know I'd be a loner. Kind of like a Bruce Wayne type or Griffin from Jumper. Like David Rice and Bart Allen in SV I'd probably turn to crime to survive after running away from home. Why would I run away? Because my parents are bound to find out sooner or later that I was a mutant and I just wouldn't be able to handle their perception of me changing- even though they would say everything would remain the same, no way it could.

So I'd be a loner mutant who ran away from home, turned to crime for a while then continued to live his life.

I'd probably go after the bad guys as well. If the government started attacking mutants for example, I wouldn't stand that and I'd fight them. Just like Griffin fights the Paladins. Kind of a whole 'brotherhood' thing. Fighting more for survival instincts.

So, if you had mutant powers how would you envision your life would form and who you'd be?

I'd be a thief and a hero and the rest of my life would remain the same. It's not like my husband would divorce me or something, he'd think it was awesome.

I'd probably just find a way to make people think they're insane, like how Claire and the flying guy tricked the cheerleader in Heroes.

The novels are really good. Reading the first Jumper and it's a lot darker than the film. Same overall themes though.

And getting Griffin's story on Tuesday. That's really the jumper I relate to the most.

Flight- I'd take midnight "strolls" to see how far I can go. And if I could help anyone along the way, I would.
Energy projection- I'd use it in secretive small bits to help myself in normal life.
Elemental- Move to an area that has my element

Agreed. If you had Storm's power, you'd live a very different life if you had powers like Rogue.

If I were a jumper, I wouldn't have stolen so much money because if money goes missing and I suddenly have cash, I'd think that people would suspect me...not even because of powers but questioning where I got 50 million from.

I would have learnt how to use it and then robbed small amounts from various different banks around the country.

I'd suspect the Gov't knows about me and depending on my power I'd run away and go 'dark' as they say on 24. I'd probably run away from my family and friends just in case they're were others with powers that were bad. If they figured out I had a power bad things may happen lol.

If I had the ability to teleport and have mind control, I'd mostly use the teleporting at work so I wouldn't have to worry about being late, and with the mind control I'd use it to have any woman I wanted.

I would like to think I would be a good guy, but I think eventually my natural laziness and general impatience with the world would corrupt my powers.

Depending on how mutated I actually am, I think I'd have to stay away from any civilisation. Personally ice would be my ability as ice interests me, I'd definately live somewhere really cold; just in case the natural heat/ weather would tie my powers down.

If I had a power that would allow it I would use it to gain an advantage in my life. Be it for money or power as long as no one gets hurt or any law is broken.

I would generally just live a similar life to mine now but just using my powers to itch ahead in life without bringing too much attention to myself.

more than likely if anyone found out about me having powers, i wouild spend the rest of my days in a life.

I'd probably be a mix of good and bad. Mainly good though, but this isn't a black and white world we live in. I'd take things from the bad guys and share the wealth

It depends on what kind of powers it was I had. If I was like, toad, and my only powers were looking like a dumb ass and having a comically oversized tonuge, I'd get into porn, cause you can go far with that there.

On the other hand, if I had Wolverines powers, and was essentially unkillable, you'd see the crime rates around my area sky rocket

LOL Robin Hood style. I would like to think that would happen. Everyone tries to use their power for good, but it would back fire I am sure of it.

My goodness. If I had powers I'd do anything and everything I could to make sure I could live out the rest of my days traveling the world or living on a tropical island.

I dunno if I'd do anything illegal just because I had powers. Why change my motive?

If I had the "midas touch" though, that'd be awesome, because it really wouldn't be illegal for me to change ish into gold.
