What would you like to see?

I would want to see more of the future mutants. I kind of felt like there was a spark between blink and warpath for example that I would love to see more of and it would be great to show the general audience how bishop got his M tattoo.

It could begin with a jail break from one of the concentration camps.

What would you guys like to see?

The future would be such an awesome place for a One-Shot to happen. Just 10-15 minutes or whatever of just the future with Fan, Booboo, Omar, Adan, Daniel, Ellen and Shawn would be great exposition for the future and the new mutants. The 25 Moments stuff was great so seeing that in film as a One-Shot would be cool too.

But I think for DOFP, Rogue's Rescue is kinda gonna be the "one-shot" but I'd love to a one shot in the future with the future mutants.

I'd love it but the One-Shots are the MCU territory now. MCU fans would have a field day, especially considering their already inferior view on the X franchise. It would be another excuse to exclaim unoriginality and copying from the "superior" film universe.

Too bad Marvel has out a blockade of X-men marketing.

Yeah, I almost get confused as to why the main Marvel website says home of the X-men, when there is barely any advertising of the X-men. Not one mention of DOFP or anything. Such a shame these studios can't make some agreement.

Anything related to the future. Like what happened after the mid-credits scene of the Wolverine.

More interested in X5 than one shot. This one shot from IM3 was meh.

I don't think it's a secret that Marvel and Fox have a strained relationship ever since the Mutant X lawsuit.

One-Shot is great because you can tell smaller, more personal stories from the movies without having to spend millions to do so. Anything related to Rogue or the future X-Men would've been terrific as One-Shot.

They could publish a novelization book like they did for X-men, X3

So you would rather read a book when watch a short film about the X-Men on the DVD?

Wouldn't mind a one-shot showing either the future Sentinels turning on humanity or featuring more about Trask.

Fox should be able to do a one-shot. Don't see how it'd be any different than featurettes or deleted scenes.

Marvel doesn't own the One-Shot. Fans will say Fox are copying them but well Marvel copied Fox by making superhero movies after their successes

X-men copied WB by making Superhero films after Superman by that logic.

Agreed!

And I don't really see Fox spending money making one-shots even if they have the rights for it.

I'd love it but they'd never do a one-shot because of the cost and effort of getting all the actors back and in the same make-up and costume, rebuilding sets, etc.

Best we could hope for is an animated one-shot, or a motion comic.

But I think we'll just get the completed Rogue rescue sequence.

Is there gonna be a novelization for the movie? I remember the first 3 had those.

Well the one shot could be filmed at the same time with the movie.

would be the perfect opportunity to see more of the Sentinel Future

Doubtful, Disney/Marvel are blocking anything and everything X-Men related :(

Oh books are also controlled by Marvel?

Yup, the novelisation would be based on their property, so it would have to be licensed by them :)
