Yep, I'm gonna love it.
Gamespot... I'm guessing they'd give it a 6-7? There's no number attached, bounces - basically fun but out-shadowed by the first.

Flickering Myth.... unsure if I'm reading it right, it's either 2/4 or 2 as a film and 4 as a movie/escapism? "ID:R is ridiculous. Enjoyable, infectiously optimistic ridiculous."

GQ Magazine... no out ofs, BUT "wild, entertaining and utter nonsense."

I'm confused, what happened to no critic screenings and no reviews? Unless 6 (so far) have broken said contract of not posting reviews (4 of them are .coms - that's in-states (I think)). If FOX went "screw the film critic snobs, give it to the 'nerd' critic sites to spread that word first, phenomenal play because these are the sites I cared about (IGN, Den of Geek, Comic Book Resources, and ComingSoon).
"In the words of my generation, up yours. Hello boys, I'm baaaaaccck!"
I'm guessing the embargo is lifted on Tuesday...it's Tuesday already in some places.
Reactions seem to be getting out. Independence Day is without a doubt the worst film I've seen this year, it's spectacle is only a shadow in what is the most muddled, horribly acted, nonsensical film I've seen in quite a while. The writing is bad. I mean bad.
I thought the whole thing was no reviews until Friday? That there would be no critic screenings and reviews before the film?
Here's another review, but unsure what it is since my comp can't load it:

Empire gave it a 4/5.
"As spectacular as you'd hope. You'll enjoy yourself enough that you won't even miss Will Smith."
I trust certain outlets more than others when it comes to reviews.
RT is live.
55% so far out of 11 reviews.
I anticipate something in the high 50s/low 60s.
That sounds right and that's actually phenomenal: to add on top of this - the first one got 61-67%, I also believe that would make it Emmerich's third best reviewed film after Independence Day and The Patriot. That also puts it in the same range as 'The Lost World' rather than 'Jurassic Park III.'
Out of the ones that have given reviews, which ones do you trust more?
Ones that are a little more in tune with my sensibilities. Empire, IGN, etc.
I don't care about reviews good or bad with this. I wanna see some explosions and alien ass getting kicked.
